NO layers at all, zip. I tried layers one time and when I didn't curl it it looked choppy. I have the straightest hair.........think I'm in the Guiness World Record Book for the Straightest Hair. ROFL

I wish you were here too, I know you would do wonders with my hair! I am open to suggestions.:D

did you do the layers? or a stylist?
I really think you need some layers just a few at the bottom.
I wish I knew someone down there. your hair is about my length but I have layers and VERY naturl curly hair next time I leave the curl I'll post a picture.

I had a stylist do it but we are talking years ago......at least 22 years ago. I've just kept it all one length for the the last 22 years. Think I can cut the ends myself into layers........I do pretty good with my daughter's hair but I know it's harder on your own head. OR maybe I should just cut it an inch so the spring will hold better without the weight??:confused: :confused:

Well I wish I could see it then I could give you better advice but I think if you cut a 1/2 inch off the bottom and just a inch or 2 of layers that would be best.. But I really think I would have a stylist do it. it would be safer.

No way you think I could do it???? I haven't been to a stylist in YEARS!!! I don't even know where to go around here! AND I've only got a few more days before we leave; like we leave on Thursday morning. Eeeeeeek:eek: :eek: But if nothing else I will cut a good 1 1/2 inches off and I think that would help and was I right, use my hands and not a brush after the rollers are removed????

Because we told them to leave our fence alone. They think they own all the way to our fence but our fence isn't on the property line...we still own on the other side of the fence and we did it that way on purpose so we could walk both sides of the fence to make sure it doesn't need repairs. It is a woven wire fence that keeps our dogs in and we eventually want to have cows out there. So it was smart to stay off the line so we could walk around to check for weak spots.

But now the new neighbor thinks he owns it. He was weedeating around it and hitting the fence so on Tuesday my husband asked him NOT to weedeat around it because it takes away the galvanization which then causes the fence to rust and we can't afford to replace the fence. My hubby then told him to worry about his own yard and leave our fence alone because it is our worry, not his.

Oh and he took his tractor down the fence line and knocked a post out with his tractor. DH fixed the post once and the neighbor hit is a second time so hard that we had to replace the stupid post. Now he has hit the NEW post...I got the camera batteries charging, DH went to get his dad, and they are walking back to get pictures.

So if it is your fence and your property..........the police can't do anything to you..............what a pain some neighbors can be! I'm so sorry. Just burns your nerves when people are so ignorant.:mad: :mad: :mad:

EXCELLENT IDEA........PICTURES ARE ALWAYS A GOOD THING TO HAVE, ALL ANGLES.........CAN'T HAVE TOO MANY. Are the police still there? And how long this guy been moved in as your neighbor?

He just moved in last summer. We had the fence up a year before he moved in too.

He played the "I've been sick and the neighbors are harrassing me" card. He has been sick and we had put him on our prayer list at church...he told the police it was a fight over pesticides...that was last year not Tuesday!

Last year he sprayed Roundup all over my garden which is on that side of the property and we have our blue heeler over there and he got sick from the spray. So we told him NOT to spray the fence (he was using round up to spray the grass under the wire). This time he was weedeating and we asked him to leave it alone and he screamed at my husband about it looking like heck. My dh told him to worry about the tall crap growing around his junk piles instead of our yard. So he got mad.

Today DH was planting a new post and the neighbors girlfriend sat on the back porch and watched our every move! We can't do ANYTHING in our own yard without being watched!! I hate it!!!

No the police aren't still here. They told us that the pictures were a good idea tho and we told them we had stencils that we are going to use to make "Do not spray, weedeat, trespass" signs to hang on our fence. They said to do that because if they come back, they are taking one of us with them :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I told them I was sorry they were called out on something so stupid. :thumbdown :thumbdown

That's terrible!!! I hope the police look at things from the right perspective. They should tell HIM to stay off your property or he could be arrested for trespassing..........I suggest putting a sign up right on the property line and if he crosses it, he can be arrested. NO TRESPASSING means exactly that at least here in Florida. You can't even go to their door for any reason at all. Not put a single foot on the property. But I'd take the cops suggestion. I was typing while you were (LOL).

That is a good idea, but I am terrified if we walk on that side of the fence they will call the cops again!

I do not want to move! We worked hard to get where we are. We finally own our own place and at a reasonably young age too (I am 28 hubby is 36) and this property was passed down from his parents and they bought it in 1992 so I would think we know where the darn lines are!

They bought the property next to us off my parents....and they even told them we owned passed the fence!!

I am sorry I keep going on. thank you for letting me vent.

Have the proerty lines assest. It should be free. they will come out and put up flags at the property line. and then string a line there and post the no tresspassing signs.

Hey Lori, you would be proud of me...my hair isn't so long and boring anymore..I mean, it is still long, but a couple weeks ago I had it layered....and I mean ALL of it! Not just the front and sides this time! I love it!!
