Well last night I put some vinegar on my shoulders to help the burn. I was able to sleep only about an hour at a time, so after sleeping three hours, at 4:00 I decided to take them off and sleep for two more hours before having to get up. Never heard of using vinegar, but it helped???

Are you taking tylenol? Also, ice will help the burn, I'm always nervous about actually putting much on a burn, although I know someone who swears by vitamin E. Just pierce the little capsules with a pin and use the oil. (takes a lot though)

I hope you start using sunscreen after this:rolleyes: although, dh has never learned and he burns in no time!

Yeah, I've always used vinegar in the past, but I just hate the smell. It helped the burn to keep it on for about 4 hours. It's still pretty red and sore today though. I would have tried to leave it on longer, but I had to get up at 6:00 and I wanted more than three hours of sleep! I put some sunscrean on today when I was at swimteam this morning (I wasn't swimming). I have such fair skin I burn so easily too. I think I will be using sun screan from now on this summer!!! I guess it takes me two hard burns, but I learned! lol

I haven't taken any tylenol. I might try some ice, because it's so hot. hopefully that takes the heat away. I have to go and shower. I'll be back later! Are you going to still be here later?

No, just waiting for dh to finish getting ready and we're heading out. Yorkies are going to grandmas. :) But I hope you start feeling better soon.

I have heard Teabags help pull the burn out. and help with blisters.

I know I am such a silly child. I think more like stupid child would fit better! lol I'm really hurting right now. My shoulders are killing me. I can't imagine what they would feel like if I did't put vinegar on them. I'm having a hard time keeping myself together. Between my shoulders hurting, my body trying to heal, and not sleeping much last night I'm a mess. I feel much better after being here a couple minutes, it dried my tears!:yorkietal I need to get some rest now...talk to you later! Hey Lori sorry I can't stay :( Catch you some other time! ;)

We're good. You'd be proud of my apt. now. The bedroom is livable! Just the nic nacs and wall pictures need to come out of hiding now.

Of course I still have to rearrange my kitchen so I can reach eerything and go through the boxes stuffed in the closets by my friends. But we're almost there!

Hello! I got a picture of my shoulder. Don't fall over dead lol It's starting to blister and it hurts soo soo bad. I can't even move my arm without sending myself through a lot of pain. :( But you can see how fair skined I am. :( :(

PS - behind is the ugly color of the wall that I want to repaint. Those people had weird tastes for color!

Thank you Carol. Good thing I don't have a problem with my Blood pressure then.:mad: We tore the whole house up looking for her. It just ticks me off tha she lost the darn thing! Thank you for the complament on the Avatar:)

I know you must really be in pain............had only one sunburn in my life and it was like yours!!! But as I have got older, I never burn anymore.

But yep, sunscreen is a must!!!!!!

Oh and I use the vinegar too when I was burnt so badly but also used Noxema as well. Don't know why it works but it is cool to the skin and healing!

Hope that heals up soon and you get some relief!
