Some of the purses were beautiful, some were plain and some were just ugly! The highest price I saw was $120. I almost got a suede Vittan, but the color was a bright yellow, which is definitely not me. It was only $50 but I decided it didn't matter how much it wasn't - I really just didn't like it that much. So, I came away with nothing but spent some time with old colleagues and got to meet my co-worker's mother and see her condo. It's an assisted living condo and is lovely. Very much like an apartment I looked at a couple of weeks ago in an assisted living community but bigger. So, ladies, that was my evening spent shopping for purses. Not so exciting, but enjoyable. All but 6 of us were over 70 so I felt like a young wippersnapper - tee hee! |

Aw, sorry you were sick Lori. Hope you weren't as bratty as Miss Brea when she was sick! Did your doggies love you while you were feeling badly? Omega, I hope you got some sleep last night. Hey, everyone!! I was brainstorming about my site the other day, and I came up with a good idea for toys. Toy of the month! Here's how it would work: On my "toys" page, there would be a toy; just one toy. Every month (or two) there would be a new featured toy of the month! If sold out before the end of the month, next months come in! Does that sound good to anyone? I was thinking would be a cool way to always have new toys, but not just keep adding to inventory!! Opinions anybody?? |
Sure. Then what would you do with the ones that didn't sell - have a Toy bin listing of reduced toys? |
Hi thread! I posted some pics of Tink in the Picture thread. She's all discombobulated because her house is all packed up and she can't find her piddle pads or her toys or her bed or me or anything. She's been having accidents the last couple of days. Can't say I blame her, I'm all discombobulated too. I wanted breakfast cereal this morning and my friends packed my bowls. So, I stopped at the PDQ for a muffin instead and got coffee too. I leave Thursday morning at 8:15 for El Paso. I'm getting excited. I'm trying to pack my suitcase and my apartment. it's an interesting time right now. Oops, I forgot, I have to make some more sashes. Gotta go do that right this minute before I forget again! Hi everyone I don't know how long I'll be on the wyfy is on the fritz and we also have a nasty storm headed our way the river is about a foot from cresting :eek: THank god we are on really high ground. Any way I think everyone is over being sick now . I don't know if I posted it but Jim Got it last night:( are not sure if it was a bud for food poision? I think a 24hr bug. Any hoo. I hope all is well with everyone. I hope to be on for a bit before the storm hits. |

Awwww, I'm gonna miss you too while I'm gone. I'll try to post if I'm at my daughter's apartment and can use her computer. I don't have a laptop to take. I'd love for you to babysit the Tinkerbeauty. But, you're right, we're too far apart! The girl who is going to watch her is a friend and also a vet tech at an animal clinic here in town. She'll take good care of her. She has a 4-yr old Westie rescue. |
