Yeah, she usually is the night owl. She could have just tired herself out and needed a rest from us.;)

Not a good Dr. appointment, but this too shall pass. We'll get it figured out. Just remember me in your prayers OK?

Seriously, I was hoping to get a really nice tan for my son's wedding but the dermatologist said to stay out of the sun (no sun tanning) for at least six months so my scar would heal nicely. I had a mole removed and it left a nasty looking 2 1/2 inch scar.

That's a BIG scar for a mole. What are you using on it? My daughter used something when a husky tried to bite her mouth off a couple of years ago. I can't remember what it was called - but it was wonderful.

It's called Generation III. A girl from Maltesetalk that works in a plastic surgeons office recommended it to me. It's a bit pricey but she said it works wonders. But you have to use it for four months to see results for a fresh wound.

And yeah, it was a huge scar. Want to see a picture??? It might give you nightmares!!!:eek: :eek:

Okay now what you have to remember is that it had been three days after the surgery that I took these pics. The mole itself was only the size of a pencil eraser head so it wasn't really that big..........so I was like in shock for the first two days looking at it wondering how something so small could cause such a big incision. I was thinking more along the lines of a snip snip and a couple of stitches!!!:(

Rally! I wouldn't have thot it would be such a bid scar either. What did they take out of there? Hmmm!

I don't know if it was a deeper mole than they anticipated or what. I did smell flesh burning though...........stinks the high heavens. I told him when he is going to do that to a patient, he needs to burn some nice smelling candles when he does it!

Ah, I see - that explains it. Goodness. I have a tiny little mole next to my nose that I was thinking should be removed. But maybe I'll wait til I'm 90.:rolleyes:

Really, the scar isn't that noticable under your jaw line. It isn't as hideous as I thought it was going to be. I was ready for Frankenstein!:D

Well, as you get older, hair grows where you do not want it to grow and it was starting to itch so I asked him to remove it. I'm glad I did it and I think it will be fine in time. But thank goodness it is in an area that you just can't see from a front view and from the side my long hair covers the area so it's not a bother to me.

I will tell you one thing though. Please don't try to match the color of yello on your throat to a dress for your son's wedding. Just not your color!

Thanks for the suggestion!!! Yea, yellow is not my color. See I told you I bruise easily too!!!! The yellow is all gone now anyway! lol

Hey have you every tried one of Chattiesmom's silk harnesses or know of anyone that has???? I have Kallie with the long hair and Toby with long hair and all the harnesses I have used mat their hair something awful. Someone recommended them to me and it will cost me about $32.00........so I'd like a little more feedback on them.
