Hi little big thread. I thought I'd check in cause it's been almost a month since anyone fed you. I do check on you now and then - just don't post every time.

Tink got groomed yesterday and she's so pretty. I've been grooming her as a poodle for the past year. It's more comfortable for her in this heat and after all, she is half poodle. My sweet little Yorkiepoo Tinkerbelle.

Thanks! I used to keep her groomed and cut as a Yorkie but as she got older, her nose got longer and longer like a poodle's but her ears are shaped like a Yorkie's and with the Yorkie hair but they don't stand up. With her ears cut short and the long nose, she just wasn't pretty anymore in a Yorkie cut.
So the groomer and I talked and decided to try a modified poodle cut. Works pretty well and we're both much happier about trying to keep her hair rat-free! :)

Sometimes it is easier to keep it short :D some of my yorkies are wearing short cuts for summer

Hi Kathy, nice to see you. Thanks for the compliments for Tink. She's gotten so much confidence since we moved here. She has a huge yard to walk in. I can't let her run free because it's a green space and not fenced in but we do take nice walks and she gets to smell the world under her feet. ;)

She's developed some allergies to grasses here but other than that, she's been very healthy.

Hi to Winston. Tink sends him a nose-lick!

Hi little big thread! It's mighty hot in Texas this year. No rain, so we can't water our lawns much. Can you find us some rain somewhere? The wildfires are scary! Tink doesn't notice except I have to put booties on her cause the asphalt is soooo hot.

OK, end of complaining. Life is good and I am happy!

Oh thread, you hold so many memories; happy and sad. Guess I'll always stop in to feed you now and then but it will never be the way it was. So much has changed since we started you.

Tink has a big brother now. We adopted a 14 yr old toy poodle last month. He was at a foster home for a rescue group here in Austin. He was in really bad shape but is doing so much better now.

I check this thread since it was started around the time I joined YT many years ago.
