I'll get some nakie pictures one day soon here so you can see how silver she is. You have to get it in just the right light for it to show in the pics. Quote:

Hey everybody, long time no talk! Hope everyone is well........Toby has had three episodes of the HGE but seems to have recovered so that is the latest news around our house. We have gone to home cooking for him and he seems to be doing better. The girls are working their way into home cooking too! I was sure this thread would still be around. :) |

2 Attachment(s) O.k...all I had to do was finish making coffee and walk from my kitchen to my office! Anyway, here are my boys... First is Nikki...I woke him up for this picture and his eyes are green because he has a beautiful silk coat. He's a little gentleman and you talk about a lover boy...this is one sweet little guy who loves to lay on your lap or snuggle with you. Nikki is a little boy weighing maybe a few ounces over 4 pounds and he has a beautiful full black saddle that just shines when the light hits it and he has some black on his ears and around the base of his ears...he's really a pretty boy. Second is Peanut...what can I say...his little face says it all! He's a doll who follows me all over the house wagging his little tail and he smiles when I talk to him or pick him up. Peanut is also a little boy weighing maybe 4 pounds but only with a rock in his pocket! He has a black saddle that is turning steel blue but you can't see it because of his belly band and he has steel blue mixed in around his ears and on the top of his head. |

Helloooo?? Hey...where's my pecan pie?? So, what was on your menu? We had turkey (of course) green bean casserole, mashed carrots with cranberries, grilled mixed vegetables, cottage cheese with tomatoes and green bell peppers, mashed potatoes with gravy, spiral pasta with spinach and tomatoes, broccoli rice casserole, cranberry sauce with manderin oranges and pecans, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, Hawiian dinner rolls, herbed breadsticks, beer bread and chipotle dip...I think that's it for the 'real' food. For desert we had pumpkin pie, home made pecan pie, dutch apple pie, home made bread pudding with home made caramel sauce, vanilla pudding with snickers and apple chunks, mixed berry pie, red velvet cake, ooey gooey pumpkin cake, chocolate mousse pie and home made fudge and I think that about covers the deserts. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you didn't gain too awful much...I probably did! ;) |
Wow!!! I cannot believe all the food you had! So many desserts! :2omg: How many people did all that food feed? Would you care to share a couple of recipes??? :D Like the bread pudding and the broccoli and rice dish? Pretty please? |

1 Attachment(s) OK, I'm feeling like a Scrooge this year. Since I'm in the middle of packing, I have nothing up for Christmas and wont even have a tree this year. No cookies, no fruitcake, no NOTHIN'! BUT Tink does have a beautiful Christmas dress. So here's my vicarious attempt at decorating for Christmas. |

I too love my nativity set...it belonged to my dearly departed mom...it makes me feel close to her, even though she's been gone for 11 years. Merry Christmas everyone! I've had my house decorated for the season since the weekend after Thanksgiving...I think it looks beautiful...and Winston is checking the tree and his stocking each and every day....waiting for Santa to bring him his goodies because he says "I have been a very good boy". LOL!!! Susie, hope your move goes well and is everything you thought it would be. I guess I'm use to having all the holidays alone, just hubby and I and of course Winston, it's okay with me, because I know my friends and family are always with me...in spirit and in my heart. I don't feel down in the dumps about it...I remember the holidays we had together fondly...those sweet memories can not be taken away, I savor them all, each and every one. |

Tink was just reading over my shoulder and saw mention of Winston. She is a little upset right now-wimpering around behind me and scratching at my shoulder. She says "Now I'll neber get to see Winston cause you are stealing me to Texas and dat's too far for me to wun to Iwwinois!" So, I think I'm in trouble. She hasn't heard from Bernie for months and has decided he doesn't remember her. Uncle Charlie is busy in California and she's feeling neglected by her paramours. I told her it's all my fault cause I haven't been able to keep up lately but she just snorted (a little ladylike one, of course) and stalked off. |
