Oops, I'm a bad mommy - again! I was trying to wipe out the oven and Tink laid her Kong on the door. I gave it a toss and forgot about it. Then I closed the oven door and turned it on. As I was rinsing the sink, I smelled something strange and it kept getting stronger but I couldn't find it. Yeah, you got it...Tink had put her Kong back on the oven door and when I closed it the Kong fell down onto the electric oven burner! PHEW! Now her Kong is ruined and the apartment stinks to high heaven. Good thing I have a spare Kong from last winter when we thought we had lost the one that burned today. It doesn't look that bad, but the little part that melted is all sticky and oily. Weird. Wonder how they make those things? |

Yikes! I hope you are airing out your place... those smells could be toxic. :( Sounds like Tink was trying to tell you she wants to learn to bake! Did you get my e-mail? Do I have the right address? |

You didn't tell me if the recipe I proposed sounded good to you! What did you think? |
I almost forgot! Tink got a hair cut in honor of your upcoming visit! She looks lovely - of course I would think that no matter what she looked like. ;) |

3 Attachment(s) So, Teri's visit came and went. We survived - barely. Her dog hated my dog - until the visit was almost over and then they loved each other. Tink cried for a day after Jolie left - she didn't much care if Teri was gone - just Jolie the malt. Teri and I had a good time together - except that she got sick and had to go to hospital but she's OK. Home now and trying to decide what the hey happened to her - only the shadow knows. Anyone old enough to remember that radio show? Not me - but my mother loved it. I guess it was on when I was teeney tiny. Well, thread - you almost starved to death. Glad I stopped in. Here's some nourishment for you. |
My ears were itching... I figured it was YOU talking about me.:D Jolie didn't HATE Tink... just took her some time to figure out what the heck was going on. She has never met a dog on uppers before. :yelrotflmAnd I think that little Tink DID miss me a little... thank you very much.:p I got some of the Shadow tapes for my kids to listen to when they were small. They really enjoyed them. I used to get them a bunch of different old radio shows... a lot of them I got from the library. Susie, do you remember when they did the C-scan on me? I know they did it but I can't remember it. Was it when I was in the ER? I remember both MRI's all TOO well, but not that one. Weird. My leg is still weak and not working quite like it should be. It is a bit disconcerting but there's nothing I can do I guess. I have some exerises from the PT, maybe I will try those. I forgot about them till just now. I hope your cold gets better fast!:) |

Yes, do the exercises they gave you. They might help --- And my cold is going into my chest now - I've been hacking all day. WAHHHHH, poor me!  |

:(:(I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping it would just get better overnight. |
I'm trying to find some PJs for Tink with long legs. She has her two lovely nighties but some nights are just soooo cold she really needs her long legs covered. Everything I see is already made and has short little legs or its quite expensive to have customized. Any ideas anyone? I can make them myself but it's so much fun to buy her something. |

My poodle used to sleep under the covers by my feet even in the summer. I miss that little guy. My Indy.:( |
