OMG you guys i just posted my first nasty gram in a thread. I couldn't take it anymore. :( Well not that bad but I said what I wanted to say this time and not by-pass the thread like I really should have done in this case.

Please someone talk to me. Ellie is spayed now and is doing okay but she seems to be incontinent now.:( She had a few accidents in the house in the last few weeks (before spay) and we did a u/a and culture. Everything was fine. The vet was thinking behavioral and said next would be to look at diabetes. She doubts it though. During the spay the vet even looked at her bladder and it is fine. Now she peed on a blanket and is going in her onesies (and it has been six days). I don't know whether to repeat the u/a or what. We have already spent over $2000 on her this year and it doesn't seem to end. What do I do? Do I cal lthe vet and bug her AGAIN (she really doesn't mind). I am so sad and frustrated.

As for posting what is on your mind, I usually don't because then people say this is a nasty board. Besides people will do what they want even if 100 people tell them that they are wrong.

Hi Crystal...when my boys were neutered they both had some accidents for a while afterwards but it did go away. I just used their playpen and crates when I needed to and I reinforced their crate training over again. Once they were healed it seemed to stop. Good luck with Ellie May.
