my vet actually uses wire strippers!!!!!!!!!! it cuts the outside "shell" of the naiil but doesn't get the quick. so there is no chance of cutting the quick. i thought that was pretty weird at first, but it seems to work great!!

Hmm, I just took mine to this groomer yesterday and she did it. They flip out when I tried to do it!

i am debating wether or not i want to shave maggies ears again. i have always kept them shaved but have let the hair grow out a lot. one of her ears flops all the time, always has. but the other one will still stand up when she wants it to. but it lays down a lot now too.

I think I will shave them. The only reason i let them grow out is because i love seeing the yorkies with the "butterfly ears". you know, where the hair fans out around the ears...well....i don't think hers will do that. i think they will just sag :(

Hi All. Just checking in to let you know that all is well over here. I had a hospital appointment last week to check that Amelia is growing well and everything is looking good and they think that my meds are having no effect on her growth! :D I have a test at the hospital on the 18th of this month for Gestational Diabetes and then another ultrasound on the 8th of next month! lol. I need my own parking space at the hospital! lol

Little Gypsy is going to be ONE in a couple of weeks! Can you believe that! Her FIRST birthday! How exciting! Mum and Ellie have already got her loads of great things for her birthday but she doesn't know yet so I'm typing this while she is sleeping so she doesn't see! ;) Don't tell her! :D

Get this... me and Chris were looking in a magazine on Saturday at random stuff and I found a beautiful locket, it really is nice... I said jokingly I was about due for a present because it must be coming up to our one year anniversary, (yes I know, I'm six months pregnant! :rolleyes: ) so I actually had to look to see when it was our anniversary (:rolleyes: no love or romance lost in this relationship lol).... YEP, :( we missed it! It was the 23rd of last month! Chris said he was still going to get me something nice but that's not the point... I can't believe we missed our first anniversary! :(
