Good Afternoon girls, glad to see V. dropped in here, finally! She's pretty darn funny too.
My day~ Well first HUNG OVER from last night festivities...:(
And Jim went to Virginia ( to visit Deb) no to the race so he left his son in charge of Chloe his Cocker, told him DO NOt LEAVE HER IN THE CAGE ALL DAY! I wont, he says... Yeah well I've been up there 3 times already and guess what he's gone and she's in the cage...:mad: I knew this would happen... Who's worried abt the dog,,that's right,,ME! I'm gonna ring his neck,, IF he ever goes home. So I have been occupying two dogs today.
So heres a pic of last nights group...

So instead of going out for a romantic dinner last night our friends invited us for a last minute get together at their house for BBQ and drinks. That was fine by me because I was too tired after chemo to get all dolled up to go out. So we ended up playing a game called Catch Phrase. Don't know if you played it before but OMG it was funny, and even better if you're half cocked like I was (drinking full throttle energy drink with rasp. pucker and vodka) so all of a sudden the word QUILL comes up and I am trying to describe to my partner what it is....I say small bird, you can hunt and eat it, one syllable she is saying FINCH, DOVE, TURKEY....I can't stop laughing the timer goes off and I was like DAMN.......she is like ok what is it, I go QUILL my husband gives me this look like WTF......... QUILL is what a porcupine has, a QUAIL is a bird, I had just taken a drink of my yummy beverage and when my husband said that I spit it all over the table and all over my friends. OMG I couldn't stop laughing. No more drinking and game playin for Miss Courtney any time soon, I am SOOOOOOO hung-over today. Just thought I would share my funny Cinco de Mayo story. Hope ya'll had a great one.

Yesterday was Friday!!!
I shop on most Fridays. I have a friend who takes every other Friday off.
So we shop, do lunch and shop some more. Plus Macys was having a great sale;) ;) ;)

Not much to report,,from me.. It's Monday..

Dang susan, I wanted to have your picture posted before you got on this morning! Hey everyone! I met Susan and her lovely daughter this weekend. Mac and Mellie came to Tucker's dog park to play. they even brought presents! Megan got some beautiful stationery, which she loved, she writes to a few people "the old fashioned way". Tucker got so much stuff I may have to put half of it away until next year! Toys, treats, just great, fun stuff! Not to complain, but I can barely type, thanks to Susan...she is soooo creative. for some reason, she felt compelled to make a bow for Tucker's bag. Each ribbon had a tiny bone treat tied to it. Maybe by the time he's 15 I'll have them all untied! We were laughing the whole time because one of the dogs would come over for a treat, but by the time I had it untied the dog had lost interest and was off playing again! It felt like one of those "how do you keep an idiot busy" games.
Anyway....here is a picture of the illusive Susan. Why she wouldn't post one herself, I can't figure out. so here you go "TA DA!!!" (I've also added Mac and Mellie and Tucker checking out his gift and thinking "am I ever going to get one of those damn bones?"

Wow! Tucker's making lots of new friends. :) Love the dog bone idea. ;)


Well, on Saturday the mailman cometh....dd all excited...'cause we received a package from Gina. Did I consider the unmarked, brown paper wrapping suspicious....oh, no...we were thinking bikini time. :D Finally get it open...dd says she sent a book, why'd she send a book, and paperclips....she sent paperclips and she marked them LOL....what is funny about paperclips. Told dd...ya know Aunt S and Aunt T...Gina's kinda like them. Very quietly...she says she's crazy? Gina's crazy? Yep, certifiably. ;)

Easy summer smut reading received, G. And ya don't have to have a dictionary handy with easy summer smut...ya know what all the words mean. ;)

I have my handy Paul's post it notes, and my paperclips at the ready....all set for work today. :)

I did too! When I got home, hubby said "where\'ve you been?" He couldn\'t believe we were there for 4 hours! Tucker was "tuckered out" the rest of the night. Hey Deb, were your ears ringing?:D
