OK...I need a little help.

I am so not good at this mushy stuff. Friday night we are going to a dinner for the graduating seniors...just found out we have to give him a sentimental gift...favorite toy from childhood, favorite picture, etc., and say a little speech in front of everyone as we present it to him! Neither hubby nor I are good at speaking in front of a group. So I decided to frame his favorite picture from when he was little with an old truck my husband was restoring, he has always loved this pic for some reason and wanted it in his Sr ad and Sr video at church :confused: anyway I am attaching the pic. and I thought I could just read what is on the pic that night. I think if you detach it to your computer you will be able to read it...the font shows up really dark, but is softer when printed....anyhoo here is what I put on it, and I know that you don't know him, but as Mom's do you have any suggestions or changes for me?????

As for the party, we tried that last year it did not go well, Mr. Attitude did not cooperate well with his cake,and icecream and HIS toys! And Noone can go near his mom or Dad, so the neighbor dogs went home with little frowny faces and a bad party experience. So don't think we will try that again. I think a trip to DQ and a nice baby cone and we'll call it a day. PLUS as someone keeps bringing up.. how would poor Toto feel is Bailey had a big Shin-dig,and his poor birthday was almost forgotten...:( You can't pick favorites, ya know...:cool:

OK...thanks everyone! Yep...it is going to be hard....they used to do the gift thing and then they stopped, and I was very glad (because of the speech thing), but then some sappy parent :rolleyes: insisted they start doing it again, so I just found out about it! I'm sure there will be tears :cry: One of my friends is making her husband talk cause she said there is no way she can do it (this is her first one to graduate and she isn't handling it very well :rolleyes: )

I'm pretty sure I'm going to regret saying this, but Bonnie's b'day was sometime in May :( I know I am a terrible Mommy...I can't find her papers and I don't know the exact day....she is 4 this year, but I've only had her a little over 1 year. She doesn't seem to miss the fact that we didn't celebrate her bday!!

Attention all boy yorkies....I went to PetSmart at lunch and they had swimming trunks for boy's...OH MY WORD....they are so cute! If I had been smart I would have taken a pic with my cellphone to post here. They only had 2 pairs and I believe they were Mediums..but we have 2 other PetSmart's here in town if anyone is interested.
