NO HEAT!!! Really. Heat will cause it to swell more because it brings blood to the surface....you want cold to restrict the vessels. Learned that from brother the EMT.....NO HEAT!

What part of no heat do you not understand? No hot tub. You will be in extreme pain. Wrap the ice, use it for 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off. Suck it up! It's a little ice and it will make it all better. And elevate it. You are trying to decrease the flow of blood to the foot. Where on you foot is the injury? Is it toe or instep or somewhere else?

That is because the heat was drawing the blood away from your brain and in to your foot. Maybe you should go get an x-ray.

NO!! Put on socks, put the ice in an ice pack, wrap in a towel. Either you suffer through the cold or you aren't going shopping, that's for dang sure.....so which is it...cold or shopping tomorrow. Btw, do you have it elevated?

My grandmother used to get the motorized cart at the grocery store. The grandma with neck rigor mortis and cantseecrapitis....I'd be an aisle over and hear the crash...followed by "clean up on aisle 5" .:rolleyes: Those accidents were never her fault either. Can't wait until I'm old enough to blame crashes on someone else. ;)

Teri the ex x-ray tech is gonna give you an x-ray via YT. Just like the real radialogist....you never see 'em...they just send ya a bill. :rolleyes:

I have a scooter that I use at work. I leave it there because the house we have is so small, I'd be taking down walls. When we were in Las Vegas I rented one.....this thing was like going from a Volkeswagen to a Cadiallac! It was so fast I was terrified of it. One night I went to get off, leaned against the "go" button and ran into my own leg! I swear I thought it was broken, it hurt that bad. I couldn't even talk! And, I still have the scar.

Had to put lots of ICE on my leg. Made it all better.

Yeaah, hold your breath! And the bill is for READING the x-ray. Never mind that the technologist lifts the patient, positions the patient, takes the film, develops the film and brings it all nice and shiney to the Radiologist who is sitting there drinking a cup of coffee. He looks at it, yup, broken. (no $hit Sherlock) and you get a bill!

I know what the bill is for....sorry, Gina, Teri's gonna x ray ya....but no radiologist here to read it.

Wait a minute....Gina take a picture of your foot and post it. Your medical staff here will wait. Btw, now that Teri's offered her professional medical opinion...you're in for another co-pay...remember specialists costs more.

You go to the Doctors and a week later you have

Edited to add...does your mouse need to be cleaned? Turn it upside down and take the cover off by the little ball (no comments from the peanut gallery) and then blow the lint off the little ball and put the cover back on! (AGAIN...no comments from the peanut gallery!!)

May I direct your attention to the title of this thread, missy. I think you've forgotten. :rolleyes: Blowing the ball :rolleyes: that's a real technical computer term for ya....doesn't work. The little rail thingys (nerd tech term) on the sides get gunky (another technical computer term), take your finger nail and get that stuff off. Or better yet....your new computer will come with a lazer mouse...no more balls....(it's been castrated.... :eek: )

Btw, what the h-ll is a chilhuahua ringtone? Does it bark like a chilhuahua....been meaning to ask that all day.
