I got 1st place :) |
Our you and I the only ones that didn’t take off for the summer? |
I know, it's like a ghost town here. I've been very busy but come one at least twice a day, morning and evenings. |
Hard to be inside the house if it’s nice out though. |
I had / have a lot of outside work to do, and we have had a lot of rain and more rain coming so that delays my outside work. How has your's and Dexter summer been going. |
We went from flooding to needing rain now! For several weeks it was to hot and humid to even want to go outside |
Same here, temps in the 90's with high humidity, no outside work in those conditions. More rain and high humidity coming this week. Hope you can get some outside time with Dexter. |
Dexter got nailed by a bee of some sort and it knocked him down . Vet wasn’t at the clinic so I took him back home. He still isn’t acting 100% yet. |
Awww poor baby. I watch Cody very carefully when bees are around and shoo them away if they get close to him. Hope Dexter is feeling better. |
It’s changed his behavior He doesn’t want to be out there as long now even on the cooler days |
That's because he got stung, now afraid to go outside. My now passed girl, when she was about 3 or 4 years old must have gotten bit by a fly because, every time she saw a fly she would hide under the bed until I killed it. That fear of flies stayed will her all her life, she was 17 years old when she passed. Reason why I watch Cody very close when any flying insects are buzzing around him, I shoo them away. |
I know how painful it is for me to get stung |
Poor Dexter |
He’s slowly getting back to being mischievous |
that is good |
