Computer is faster for me then the I pad. |
Harder to watch tv that way though. |
I only watch anything on the Ipad when I bring one of my vehicles in for inspection or repair. I wait for them, I usually watch Judge Judy lol and I use ear pods so I don't disturb anyone. |
I use my 17" screen lap top to watch movies, I put it on the arm of the sofa, I have a wireless Bose speaker i use for lap top only. Nice and comfy to watch movies. |
I’d entertain the idea of being online using my big screen tv if that was doable |
If only that could be done, I would LOVE that. With technology growing in leaps and bounds, it wouldn't surprise me that would be available on a smart TV. |
Probably is if, you’re really smart about computers etc |
I don't watch use my smart TV much. I bought a sound bar for volume control, it has 5 speakers in it, but it depends on what channel you're on watching to be able to hear it, I have a small house, no room for speakers that set on the floor. I have to see if they sell wireless wall mounted speakers. |
Sucks to have these big screen tv’s and crappy speakers. I use a sound bar on mine but, I’m always having to raise and lower the volume to get it in sync. |
My sound bar is at max volume. if its a music channel then I have to lower it, but i don't listen to music on the TV, I have a fantastic stereo system for music. I'm ticked off, I have a new 43 inch TV but don't use it due to low volume. I have to watch movies on my 17" laptop. whats wrong with that picture lol. |
Beats me, technology is past me by. I don’t need to say alexia turn off the lights though. I can do that all by myself. Merry Christmas or happy holidays to you and your family |
I don't have, need or want alexia lol. Hope you had a good holiday. Now I have to get through New Years eve with all the fire works. Scares the dog, poor thing looks for places to hid. |
Fortunately, I don’t have anyone in the area firing off fireworks on new years night. |
Lucky you. I live in a tourist town with many ski hotels, lodges and indoor water activities. They aren't close to me, but you can hear the fireworks in the distance. Dogs have a keen sense of hearing and my guy shakes like a leaf. |
Bathes are the only thing that frightens Dexter |
HAPPY NEW YEAR Cody tolerates baths (I use the shower) extremely well. Loud noises, hammering, nail guns he'll bark at. Thunder and Fireworks scare him to the point he trembles horribly. |
Happy new year to you Only thing that gets Dexter worked up is the door bell and the postman |
Doorbell and postmen, that's really funny. I live in a community, very very quiet, Cody barks when he sees anyone walking in the road which isn't often. Silly pups. |
I did hear fireworks last night Dexter wasn’t bothered by it |
Fireworks started late 11PM. They could be heard in the distance, inside the house, not so much. Cody did just fine sleeping under the blankets next to me lol. |
That’s good 😊 |
Did you try the Thunder shirt on Dexter yet. |
No I haven’t. If, I thought he would be subdued wearing it when company was here, I’d get one in a minute |
Some members have used a regular doggie shirt that's very snug fitting. The idea of a thunder shirt is it applies gentle, constant pressure to calm all types of anxiety. A snug fitting doggie shirt will have the same affect. |
Winner here :) |
I’ll never win this one |
There's always hope :) |
And living to be a 100 |
And living to be a 100 Taking forever to m |
The way socity and techknowledgy is changing I wouldn't want to live to see 100. Driving a car hands free, making younger generation lazier than they are now is not a sight I would want to see lol  |
