Pain medication is so hard on me I can barely tolerate it. Can only take a tiny bit of a pill and I still feel bad. Bad, bad stuff but very bad pain can make it look a little better. After hip surgery next month, hope to ditch it for good! After that I can camp with less yelping and .......well, you get the picture.

Every camping trip need those! We need more campers but if we don't get any tonight, I'll add 2 more things to my short list and then we should get more!

Having a hip replacement does not sound like a fun time but I guess if it fixes things and you won't need the pain meds anymore, then that is a good thing.

my mother had a hip replacement about 3 years ago , it went real well. i didnt have peyton at the time but i brought minnie and tootsie up to the rehab every day to visit with her. they were just puppies then and they got lots of people socialazation there :)

My sister is 12 years older than me and when she had her knee replacement, she said the hospital had the sweetest Daschund that came to visit each patient. She said she had never really been around a Daschund before and thought they might be a little cold to strangers for some reason but that that was not at all the situation. She lists that as a highlight of her hospital/rehab stay.
