matese | 02-21-2014 07:07 PM | omg, how awful, I would not have been as polite as you were, to feel like you are being watched like you were going to steal what you had in you hands. You know lol, I had a similar experience in the shop where I live. It was this past Dec. I needed a quick gift for an unexpected invite to an ole friends house. In the past my friend would always get me a little outdoor something. Having bought yard ornaments from them last year I went to see if they had any since it was Dec. I was told seasonal was in the back of the store. Not being familiar with the store I went about looking for the item, muttering to myself why someone did not lead the way, because I was just walking around in circles, every time I would go back to an area I had been in I noticed a young girl was behind me, so the 4th time I saw her I asked if she worked there (because I could not find what I was looking for and my blood pressure was getting higher) when she said she did lol, I said to her " since you've been following me for the last 10 min. where are the wind spinners" lol, she didn't respond to my sarcastic comment, just took me to the area where they were. I was a bit up tight at the thought I was being "followed" by a worker, who was watching for "shop lifters" I live in a tourist area, I have a out of state accent, so I guess I was marked as a possible shop lifter. But you see I won't boycott this shop, now that I feel this is what they do I'll be prepared the next time I go there. I am not a "shy" person lol, if this is done to me again I will deff. say something. Because of what happened to me is the reason I asked you what happened. You just loosing your baby and to be treated so rudely I can understand you never wanting to go back to that shop. I would have gone to the manager and reported her for snatching the dog out of your hands that way and in front of a small child. I'm glad that your hubby found the same dog, he sounds like a loving, caring man, to go on line and search for what he knew would make you happy. a friend of mine years back had a little westie, cute as a button. Yorkies are a joy, I have had 3 females, all passed. I just adopted the one I have now ,the first male pup I ever owned he's 2 y/o a surrender not abused. I love the breed, they are little clowns, you will love the breed also. I feel so bad for you to have had to go through that so soon after loosing your furbaby. Thank you for sharing your story. |
