I confess I took my Yorkie into an senior living place today in her bag not knowing if they allowed pets or not. She was spotted and everyone just LOVED her. BTW I now know they DO allow pets and love having them there.:aimeeyork

I confess I am soooooooooooooooo excited about DH'S Bday I rented him a corvette this weekend and we are going to ride up the cost and see his brother!! Ohh and maybe some nookie in the fast car!! :thumbup: Woot Woot!! If you see a yellow corvette with a girl and a yorkie, thats me!!

You know what the trick is? When Pnut brings it back to you and squeaks it in your hand, instead of trying to pry it out of his jaw (thus starting a tug of war game), just put your hand flat out under the toy, and once he gets tired of squeaking it, he will drop it in your hand. Once he does say, good drop. and do it over and over again. eventually he'll do it on command. That's what we did for Uni. Do NOT pull. That's the trick. :D

Haha Peanut is too sly!! I put my hand flat on the floor, then he will lay down with the ball in his mouth put his mouth on top of my hand and like his 2 front legs, ( like HE is holding me down) and he will not drop it, not for the LIFE of him!!

Haha Well thankfully, DH would never do that :D Me yes, Dh no!! Haha Besides he wont want to stop anyways, he will want to drive that thing the whole time!!

Oh I meant put your hand out flat, but not actually on the ground, so that way he won't put his paws on you. Just right at jaw level. :D

Hmm Ok I will keep working on it, he just LOVES for me to "get" the toy out of his mouth!!

DvlshAngel (kaji's mom) told me a cop (k9 unit at that) told her the other day, so now she is getting a car seat. I do believe though it may only be in you are driving and Pnut is on your lap. Maybe if he's in the passenger side with you it may be ok? Anyway, I'm prob not gonna get one, I like to live dangerously :rolleyes:

Ohh I see. Well Peanut does have a car seat, but thats in my car when I drive. He will be living large in the corvette on mommies lap!! Living a little dangerous this weekend!!

:D We are headed up Agora Hills to see his brother, and his Mom & Dad will be at the house too and the sisters for his bday... so we will probably take a drive on pch crusie around malibu.. Woot Woot!! So much fun!!
