I confess Bogie scared the $hit out of me. He was eating his supper so fast that he actually choked. I thought I was going to lose him:( I was rushing him outside to get in the car to rush him to my vet (3min away) when he finally got it down and started breathing. I DO NOT DO WELL IN PANIC SITUATIONS:( Luckily DH was here and helped me with him. |

Our accident was a little different. My cat jumped from a table to the window. Somehow he jumped right through the middle of the cord and was hanging by his neck, when I turned around. (It was like a hangman's noose.)Luckily it was only a few seconds and I ran over and held him until I could get the cord off his neck. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had not been in that room. He did live to a ripe old age of 18, so we had a happy ending. We are in a different house now and that was 20 years ago. But, I have noticed that when we ordered new shades, they do not make the cords like that anymore. I wonder how many accidents there have been due to things like the chains on your shades or the cords on mine? Scary and sad. Anyway, sorry for this long off topic post on the "I confess" thread. |
I confess that i bought my babies a big cushion bed yesterday and this morning all i can see is a pile of furbuts :D |
