I confess today was a horrible day at work. One of my co-workers little Chi girl, got into some sugarfree gum with Xylitol. One of her kids had left it laying around. Poor little Ellie didn't make it after being rushed to the vet at 3am this morning:( To make matters worse, it that is possible. Their other little girl also a Chi named Pippi was ran over by a neighbor, who thought she was a squirrel just two weeks ago. The entire family is just so devastated and I am heartbroken for them( RIP Ellie and Pippi

Jada... That is horrible, I think I saw that thread! I must have got lucky when a Chi i was watching ate a WHOLE pack of stride gum. He was totally fine, never did phase him, he just pooped out solid gum for a day or so. That family will be in my thoughts, that's a rough month!

I confess, I'm tired from excitement!

I am so very sorry for your co-worker and how absolutely awful. Honestly, I check labels now and won't even buy anything with Xylitol in it anymore because it is so poisonous to our little ones. Some of the other sweeteners are bad, but not as deadly, I think.

I confess this is so scary i don't give mine very much other than dog food,but my neighbors kid (19) gives their poodles everything inc chocolate i have warned them about this many times but they tell me (Oh they eat it all the time) :(

I confess that I have been away from the game threads far too long :eek:

I don't have as much spare time as I used to ~ and when I do I'm spending it outdoors in the cool(ish) Fall air taking long walks with Sugar Baby :D
