B that is good to know. I may increase my borax next batch. I don't think you can go wrong with adjusting the amounts....more borax just means whiter whites.;):D

I confess that I am really relating to your post about hitting the basement everytime the sirens go off.

Hopefully better weather today and I am sending out prayers for those in Alabama and other states with huge damage and death.

I confess the storms hit our area hard last night. Our High School was hit and that is right across the highway from my work. I am dreading the drive into work this morning. Who knows what damage the light of day will show.

I confess our area was hit with a tornado last night. Thankfully no fatalities. I work at a bank and the high school is across from our bank. It was hit really hard and lots of damage. The police have blocked the road from traffic and we are sitting here watching in amazement as so many cars are driving around the huge "ROAD CLOSED" blockade, only to be turned around by the police.

Also I must confess that We have had too many tornado warnings and that this has been the worse tornado weather ever. The devastation from the aftermath is very overwhelming to watch.

I confess that cold front that hit Alabama is headed our direction.

I also confess that we are supposed to be safe except for a bit of rain and a break from the 90 degree temps :eek: :thumbup:

I am so sorry about your area. Glad there were no fatalities... The news has been so sad today about other areas.

The adult HS is destroyed, the roof of the main HS and all of the big air conditioning units are blown off. The roof of the Vocational school is gone. But the main thing is there was not one single injury, of course it helps that it happened at 10pm. There are lots of damaged homes also.
There was a tornado that hit the same way when I was a freshman at the same school in 1976, and this is the first one we have had hit here since.
Very scary stuff as we aren't used to having these huge type of storms here near the mountains. The next county over had 7 fatalities and two small children and several adults are missing. :(

I confess thanks...this has been the worst spring I can remember for tornado's and bad storms in general:(

I confess I couldn't believe all the areas that have been affected. I pray for all of the people who have lost loved ones...what a tragedy.
