ROFL....No Mark. I disagree. It says to change "A" letter. meaning change only one letter. It says nothing about MOVING any letters. if that was allowed it would say so. If that was allowed it would kind of miss the point of the whole game.

can anyone figure out how she / he gets TOURS from ROOTS lol, really this is freaking me out, give me a break PLEASEEEE, I'm on heavy pain killer meds, makes me sleepy, is it also causing hallucinations? if it is I'm gonna stop the med and suffer the pain.

I dont understand what your saying here. the last word was boots. I changed one letter , the letter "B" to "R" and made roots. thats changing one letter. From my understanding of the rules, that is what we are suppose to do. just change one letter. Im confused.............lol

that message was meant for XMASBABY75...the last word was I believe was roots, their following word was "tours" if only one letter is to be changed how do they come up with TOURS? lol you were correct xmasbaby75 screws words up that was the 2nd time they did it, lol, go back and look at xmasbaby75 you will see. Just wanted to know how they come up with their change lol, it's just a game, just for fun, I was surprised no one caught it and didn't correct xmasbaby75. all just for fun. hope you are unconfused lol. :)

Noose becomes Nodes by changing one O to a D - then switching around the letters.

Same thing Roots becomes Tours by changing one letter - one O becomes a U - it says you can change one letter, and switch them around if you like. I'm just following the rules.

WRONG read the RULES, it says CHANGE ONE LETTER. one letter, rules DO NOT SAY THEN YOU CAN CHANGE OTHER LETTERS AROUND.

YOU CANNOT SWITCH LETTERS AROUND, YOU CAN CHANGE ONE LETTER MAKING IT A NEW WORD, BUT CANNOT SWITCH OTHER LETTERS AROUND. lol at least I know its not my meds lol, and now know why your word changes were as they were. Have a lovely Monday, luv ya xmasbaby

Sorry, YOU are wrong. I've been been playing this game for years, and somewhere down the line, we added new rules so we wouldn't keep getting the same words over and over again. There is a post in this thread that says you can change the letters around (but only can change one). YOU can go back and read the whole thread. I'm not about to go through all the pages, since I've been here since the beginning. It's a game, it's supposed to be fun.

sorry if I am wrong, but I see NO " and somewhere down the line, we added new rules so we wouldn't keep getting the same words over and over again." the original game should have been DELETED. And yes it is supposed to be JUST FOR FUN, but now its all confusing lol, a new thread with new rules should be started and the old one should be deleted. Can that be done?

Just go back through some of the old pages ... everyone is playing that way, The new rules were you could either change one letter, or change the letters around, or both. It's not that hard. You play how you want to play, and everyone else can play how they want to play.

For example :

LEAR

Correct posts could include:

SEAR (changed one letter)
REAL (No letter change, just switched them around)
REAM (Changed one letter & switched them around)

Get it? Okay then.

I suppose I got distracted by having to explain the game. So, I will change it back now.
