That was the fact for just a second. I just found the thread on how you and your wife met and married. That was pretty cool.
I win | Thank you dear, Joan is a fantastic person.
I was wondering if I should tell the story of how I met my first wife and her tragic death and how she supported me right through my 24 years in the military.
We had some amazing experiences I can tell you.
One time I was on the roof of the military hospital in Berlin while Rudolf Hess was in the hospital. My wife had no idea I was up there and I would see her every day walking in to the hospital where she was employed as a nurse.
Another rather funny story is when I was in a helicopter crash and the sole survivor. When they got me to the hospital the nurse cleaned me up as my face was such a mess. She then passed me on to the next station telling them my name and unit.
When asked how she knew this she replied......"he's my husband" then went back to work on the other guys who had arrived dead.
I could go on but will refrain.
I have had an interesting life to say the least. :D:D:D:D |
