Bob Seger announced a Detroit concert for 6/6/19. I guarantee he will add at least 2 more shows to Detroit. Presale is next Tuesday...hope I can get a few tix |

Yes they will sell out quick in Detroit. Of all the places he could have done a concert here, that is the farthest from my house. About an hour drive. But it is a great place for a show. Outside amphitheater. Used to be called Pine Knob |
I feel you. We have a place close by. It’s a about 30 miles away. The venue is small and usually has the oldies play there. That’s fine by me. I’ve been trying to catch all the oldies before they hang it up. Usually, I have to go to St. Louis which is over an hour depending on where the concert is. This one caught my attention. I ended up with some nose bleed seats for this. I could have spent more but, I know Poco only has one original member. I’m not even sure about the rest of them. If you got the original singer, you can duplicate the rest on the instruments |
True. That is the problem with CCR, 3 Dog Night, Blood Sweat & Tears and The Guess Who. |
Especially the guess who. They did a concert at a nearby town. I don’t know if they had a single member left from the original band. Glad I saw them back in the mid 70’s. I saw Randy Bachman about 20 years ago. I’m beginning to doubt I ever catch Pink Floyd together or Zepplin. Maybe, I might catch the stones and Moody Blues. Time is running out |
When I was in the 8th grade my sister said she would take me to a concert for my birthday. I had to choose between Bad Company and Pink Floyd. PF had just released the Dark Side of the Moon. I chose Bad Company. I still regret that to this day. I have seen Roger Waters when he did The Wall tour but never saw the band together. |
