At my age, I wouldn’t have put one in. The pool was already there.
I had one at my old house.
It does provide some relief in the heat of summer

Somewhere where there aren't constant wildfires going on. Our entire city is covered with smoke from the interior wildfires. There's a air quality advisory alert going on warning that fine particulates in the air is actually the same or worst than in China. We haven't seen the mountains or the blue sky for over a week now. Wish it would just rain lots for a few days! *wishful thinking*

It's been pretty rough. We minimize our potty walks to 10 to 15 minutes. The air irritates my breathing. I also noticed Scottie squinting a bit too. And to top it off, weather has been hot but we need to close all our windows so we're not breathing in the fine particulates. With no AC and only a fan... There's been some sleepless nights! It's interesting though... I still see people biking to commute. I feel bad for their lungs!
