In Mayberry |
Sigh A lot of roads here are under water :( |
there is a couple of streets here that floods if we get very much but it leaves really fast |
I took a drive around town and the town branches are high but none were over the roads |
thats good |
We live in a river valley, we are expecting the river to go out and shut down a hwy that runs south of town |
Oh my lol i just seen snow in Kansas on the weather channel |
Guess, rain is better then snow. I'd hate to freeze out everything I've planted |
For sure, my mom use to say that a garden does better planted in may because the ground is warmer...IDK :D |
I should plant some too. I cringe when I see what they are charging for plants. I wish, I could start them from seed |
you can and replant them later then you will have tomatoes or whatever til fall |
It's not been warm enough here to plant them. Maybe, I might pick up a few plants to have |
its not here either it was hot on friday so i put the AC on....it got cold again this evening |
Low 50's for a high here Monday |
54 here this morning |
48 is our high for the day. |
anywhere sunny |
Sigh Take a picture of it. I don't recall the last time I saw the sunshine |
Right where I am now HOME but without the rain :) |
Mowing the grass but, it's too wet |
Do you have your hip boots on |
Thank goodness it all ran off but I got over a foot of rain. Several roads are closed including the Hwy out of town |
Wow, they are calling for several days of rain here on the mountain, my yard is very rocky so water drains quickly. The only yard flooding I had was with hurricane Sandy, I had a muddy swimming pool for a yard for several days. Lots of rain today and tomorrow, I'll need a sickle when it's dry enough to be cut :( |
I\'ve been waiting on the pool company to put a new liner in my pool. I was outside a little bit ago poking holes in the pool. I flooded out the back of my neighbors garage eek |
OMG lol, hope you are on good terms with your neighbor or, your neighbor thinks that flood is from the rain. Better get the bullet proof vest out and ready lol. |
It looks like, the water has already drained into the soil. We had been in almost drought like conditions until the floodgates opened up. I think, I had my pool up and running last year this time. It\'s in the low 60\'s for the next few days Ugh, the seasons have flipped back and forth since February here |
Same here with roller coaster temps. Yesterday morning 6AM was 32, warmed up to 57, all next wk temps high 50\'s to low 60\'s. At least I have green grass and leaves on the tress beautiful to see even if it rains or to cold. |
Except for Gusty winds today,it\'s a nice day even if it is only in the low 60\'s. What\'s your elevation where you live? |
A bit over 1600 feet. |
That make it cooler at that altitude? For some reason, I thought you were at 4000 . If all goes right, I\'m going to try and drive through Pennsylvania and catch 95 south to Virginia this summer |
