^That sounds like a fantastic job! :)

As for an answer. I have a shirt that I got on April 8, 2006. I remember the date cause I got it for my birthday haha. I know 2 1/2 years really isn't THAT long (especially compared to my mom. she has this striped shirt that she's had for over 20 years that she still wears all the time), but when you're 15...yeah. :p I still wear it - infact I wore it today and as I was putting it on I was saying "I can't believe I still own this thing." lol.

What do you think is your greatest personal achievement to date (if you're comfortable sharing)? :)

What has your favorite meal been so far this week?

MeganS 09-11-2008 05:11 AM

I'm trying to remember what I've eaten this week LOL. I had this bologna and cheese sandwich with lettuce. I know, really gourmet haha, but it was just sooo good. :p

BTW - Mike I saw "my" picture in your avi, and I thought it was me posting, and I was like "WHEN DID I SAY THAT!?" lol

Out of all the pets you've had, what was your favorite of their names? (Does that make sense? haha.)

abby2473 09-11-2008 05:48 AM

I like this question...but it's a hard one because I like all the names of the pets I've had through the years. Funny because a lot of them have been named after streets. I love the name Willow ~ it's from Willow Lane here on the Cape. I think my all time favorite was the name "Prescott" a name given to a cockatiel I once had. The name from Prescott Ave. another street... - I thought it was a cool name for a bird.

What is/was your least favorite subject in school and why?

Jilliebeanz96 09-11-2008 07:24 AM

cpuff35 09-12-2008 06:09 AM

Definitely turkey...not that adventurous to try goose.

What was the most memorable gift you received?

Sloan 09-14-2008 06:04 AM

One grandmother gave me her sterling silver flatware collection and my other grandmother gave me her best china. My other grandparents gave me their teacup collection. Yes, I had three grandmothers at once way back. :) I will treasure them all.

If you could trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?

MeganS 09-14-2008 05:53 PM

OK...Miley Cyrus. haha. I'm not a fan of her's (really...I don't like her at all) but I want to see what her day-to-day life is like. Cause she's my age and I know that being 15 (well, she just turned 16, but whatev) is hard...and I want to know if she goes through the same struggles or other struggles or what. Yeah.

what is the craziest ride you've ever been on? (mine is Kingda Ka in Great Adventure. mwahaha).

Sloan 09-14-2008 08:23 PM

I don't know if this constitutes as a ride but I bungee jumped out of a gondola in the Swiss Alps:eek:....at the time it was the highest bungee jump in the world. Pretty darn crazy if you ask me. Once I was back on the ground and looked up at the gondola and watched my brother jump out next....I knew I would never do it again. I was more scared watching him jump out then I was when I did it.:D

You've just won a complete collection of movies starring one actor or actress - which actor or actress would you pick?

silyjillie 09-14-2008 10:03 PM

Kate Hudson. I love all of her chick flicks.

What's the one tv show you have to watch every week?

cpuff35 09-15-2008 04:04 AM

Ok, I'm torn between Gossip Girl, Heroes, and Dexter...but if I had to choose one I guess it would be Heroes.

What was the most memorable place you traveled to? For me, it was Venice-Italy. I went there around September with husband following my business trip in Prague, Czech Republic. It was so beautiful there and the weather was really nice around that time of the year.

Sloan 09-15-2008 05:50 AM

I went to a very small town in Switzerland with my brother near Ascona. I met 3 of my grandfather's relatives and went to the church, the cemetary, every place by walking. It was absolutely the most wholesome, loving, "real" place that I have ever experienced. These 3 elderly sisters were so lovely....all they wanted to do was feed me and my brother and give us homemade grappa. It was absolutely charming, they even had the cow with the huge bell around it's neck....everything they had was made by hand. We stayed in a house that my great great great grandfather was born in or something crazy like that.:) I loved it and will never forget it.

Who is the most successful person personally known to you?...and what do they do?

What a beautiful memory! Thanks for sharing that!:)

I've been thinking and thinking about this one...even looked up the word success in the dictionary! I think success means different things to different people at different times in their lives. I have a huge family and everyone is very successful (career-wise etc.) but to me, right now success means happiness, no matter what may come your way and how you perceive life's ups and downs. It's about attitude...having the right attitude. That being said, I would have to say my niece, who ever so wisely comforted me recently by saying that what I was experiencing was just a "bump in the road"....I love that attitude! If I can attain that....then I will be successful!

abby2473 09-16-2008 05:29 AM

Ooops! forgot to ask a question

What is a secret, hidden or unearthed talent you have that you would like to pursue in this lifetime?

winstonw 09-22-2008 08:08 PM

Hard one...not too talented;).....I guess I would like to take an adult gymnastics class. I only had a small amount of classes when younger, and I would love to learn more......that and dance classes....because I love to do both, and think if I would have more training could have done ok!

What is the scariest thing you have been through?

cpuff35 09-30-2008 08:18 AM

Last year I went to Orlando Universal Studio Fright Fest with 2 of my co-workers. There were 9-10 different haunted attractions. Needless to say, we were all scared and was fighting to be in the middle (no one wanted to be in the front or back). :D

What's the most bizarre dream you've ever had?

teri88 09-30-2008 11:04 AM

Oh, there have been so many! I rarely remember my dreams...but the really wierd ones always involve my kids friends! Just last night I dreamt I was driving my son's friends' car and got pulled over. It was bizarre!

What is your favorite song to sing in the shower? (or in your car, or anywhere you really let loose and don't worry about people hearing you)

MyLadies 09-30-2008 01:28 PM

Shower song: I cannot get that stupid parody of Rock the Casbah out of my brain "Rock the Catbox" . It drives my husband nuts.....
If you could go hide out by yourself somewhere for a day or two to regroup, without anyone bugging you ... where would you go?

DarlingDelilah 10-01-2008 04:32 PM

Me, my chair, and a good book. Nothin beats it.

What's in your purse right now?

C101Yorkie 10-01-2008 04:43 PM

I don't have a purse, so nothing.

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

cpuff35 10-02-2008 05:04 AM

Either read a good book or watch a movie at home. I hate going out when it's raining.

What is your all time favorite movie? Mine is Sixteen Candles.

teri88 10-02-2008 06:58 AM

Mine is Somewhere In Time. It's old, Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. It makes me cry every time I see it.

What's the last food you "snuck"?

abby2473 10-03-2008 05:16 AM

Aw....no one should have to "sneak" food!!

What is the most breathtaking view you've ever seen?

MeganS 10-04-2008 04:35 PM

You know that is honestly a really, really hard question! :p It's a GREAT question though. Hm. I have a few answers (I hope that's ok :)).

1. The moutains in California. While my aunt was at her business meeting, I sat there and stared at the moutains for litterally like 5 hours.

2. Up in North Jersey, there is a "moutain" thing called Jacob's Ladder. It's almost a straight path up this rocky thing, and when you get to the top, you look out over ALL of New Jersey. It is amazing. All the different colors and everything. Just beautiful.

3. When I was leaving California, the plane went over the ocean to turn around. We went really quite far off the shore, and from above you could see the waves and the beach and then you could see the moutains. It was stunning. Just beautiful.

4. Top of the Rock in New York. It's on the top of Rockefella center, and you can see the entire city from the top of it.

What was the best thing that happened to you this week? Or the best experience you had this week?
