My fingers are sore from Dawn bamming them too! LOL The razor clams were delicious, cooked of course..kept it simple, shaken in dry pancake mix and very lightly fried in olive oil. I ban Mike just for good measure! Where ya been? ;)

I ban Dyan for referring to razor clams as if they are an oyster, which I love with a passion also. ;)

I ban Mark to say I never have seen or heard of a Razor Clam...was thinking of the clams on a half shell. Open them up, put a little sauce on and eat...:rolleyes::cool::p

Those are oysters, to my knowledge(there may be a clam I am unaware of for that), we have lots of oysters too. Our oysters are actually of Asian decent, brought over about 100 years ago for propagation. I can't/won't ban you for not knowing the difference because, maybe there is a clam I'm unaware of for that. I do ban you for not ever seeking out and trying a Pacific Oyster. I ban Mark to say they are Cherrystone clams...I have never had oysters. The Cherrystones or little neck clams are good for clams on the half shell...Geesh!:rolleyes::cool::p

I'll have to look up cherrystone clams, I ban Dyan for putting me to work finding yet another tasty morsel..

We have several "little necks".... we use them as steamers... larger clams(cockles, horse, others) are for chowder due to the stronger flavor. Razor are larger but VERY mild flavored sorta like calamari.

I ban Mark for mentioning calamari. I love stuffed squid in sauce! The razor clams must be good if made by someone knowing what they are doing in cooking them. Hope you enjoyed them! You can now enjoy being banned.:rolleyes::cool::p
