48 and this was last summer...put a pop tart in toaster at work (bank) got busy and forgot about it..we started smelling something burning:eek:suddenly realized it was my pop tart which got stuck in toaster...smoke alarms were going off, board of directors were in the building for a meeting..lobby was full of customers...three fire trucks and about 10 firefighters came running in the front door..we are in a brand new several million dollar building all I could think was oh my god the sprinklers are gonna come on and ruin the building and all the directors are out in the hallway to see what was going on..it was in the local paper and very very embarassing:D(that is what I get for multi-tasking) LOL

Now that is funny:D:D (don't think I can top that) but my husband and I went to dinner and after I went to the restroom I came back sat down at the table and started talking about this person in the restaurant. I was still looking at this person talking away when I turned to look at my husband and saw he was not my husband :eek: I sat at the next table! My husband started laughing and so did the man I'm now sitting with. Told the guy don't mind me I do this all the time(trying to cover up my embarrassment)

Ok I have one.
A couple of years ago, oh yeah, 52, I was observing a city coucil meeting for a class I was taking. The room was full. The mayor and all the wards of the city were sitting on the stage thing facing the audience. My cell phone goes off - loud. Not only that, but I couldn't find it in my purse. I'm hitting my purse and panicing because I couldn't get the thing to shut up. I was so embarrassed.

I don't think I can top the others but I had my moment this last June. It was at my wedding reception. I am short 5'0" and I found a dress I just had to have. It was very difficult to alter for me and had a ton of beading on it (the thing was almost as heavy as me..lol) anyway I had to wear really high heals and my heal got caught in my dress comming into the reception. Crash down I went in front of everybody. I wanted to hide:) I was bruised on my side from my knee to hip that was embarrasing during the honeymoon (cruise-bathing suit) LOL

Wrong place....

Hubby not once but twice came out of a store and walked right past our car and got into the car next to us. I must admit the first time the lady in the car next to us didn't find it funny when my hubby got in her car on the drivers side, but I sure did when he looked at me next to him and I waved. lol Again later on he did it again and one of our kids was with us, once again we laughed but so did the person in the other car. Sure we could have signaled him but it wouldn't have been funny. Then one of our kids was so anxious to get the back seat of the mini van before the other that after the school program they ran ahead of the rest of us to get in first. We walk to the parking lot and there is our kid in the back seat of ANOTHER van. We started laughing and watched till the family who owned the van got in and discovered an extra kid. We watched her face, it was priceless as these people got in and she realized her mistake. Actually it was funny to watch all their faces. We lived in a very small town where everyone knew eachother so no danger. We claimed our kid and went home laughing. So always lock your car doors, you don't know who will get in next to you or when you might go home with an extra kid.

pantyhose...well, ummm...they were actually the kind you need a garter belt for! Yikes...I just aged myself:eek:

Oh...and here's "one" of my most embarrassing moments...

My BF is Indian and her niece was marrying a young man who's name is VishaL. Funny thing...just one letter different...VishaY...means "s-e-x" and what do you think I called him upon being introduced...yep, you got it! Best part was having to explain how I even knew the word...heeheehee!:rolleyes::D

LOL I remember garter belts too. I loved the pantyhose idea till I found that unlike the stockings you got one pair per package instead of two. I felt like I was paying more and getting less. With four stockings per package you could stretch them out a long time between purchases.

I was 12 or 13 for my first wedding....I think.

So far, like 4. I'm a Junior haha. I went from liking the same kid from 4th grade to 8th grade to liking 4 people in 3 years! Though one I liked very, very much. We're incredibly close friends...but he's gay, so it's kind of not an option. ;) In fact, the night I was preparing myself to tell him how I felt about him was the night he told me he was gay! of course!
