OMGosh! I am sorry. Sending my thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery. I am very glad to hear that he will be ok but it does sound like he will have some painful time ahead of him. OUCH! |
omg I'm so sorry about that. I hope he gets better soon. I'll be praying for him. |
Oh my Gina, I'll add him to my prayer list. I had a friend many years ago do something similar..he slid his motorcycle on gravel and it took a lot of skin off his back, plus they had to pick out all the rocks and gravel. He was in pain for quite some time. I sure hope your brother heals quickly AND sells his bike, they are just too dangerous. |
Oh no! I am so sorry! My boyfriend was just in a motorcycle accident 2 months ago so I know how you're feeling! I stayed with him for over a week changing bandages and stuff..and he was wearing his jacket, so I can only imagine! Im SO GLAD he was wearing his helmet! Since FL doesn't have any laws making helmets mandatory, a lot of riders forget about them. Poor guy..he's going to be hurting for the next couple of weeks :( Ill be praying for him. It could have been so much worse.. THANK GOD for that! Keep us updated! |
Thoughts and prayers for you and your family, Miracles happen every day! |
Gina, I am so sorry to hear of your brother\'s accident. Thank heavens for helmet\'s. Prayer\'s coming his way for a speedy recovery. It stinks to be so far away from a loved one when something like this happens. Your parents must be frantic. |
OMG he must be in terrible pain..I hope he has a speedy recovery..thank goodness he had a helmet on!! Dawn |
thank you for all your prayers, my aunt is with him right now and she said he is all bandanged up and looks like a mummy.... connie- yes he is the brother that recently went through a hard divorce, he still very depressed over that too and now this.. he was in love with this bike and in love with riding. the bike is demolished but hes alive.. thank god you people are just the best... my parents will arrive there in the morning, but now lexi wont have grandma to visit her everymorning and evening and now im upset. lexi will be home for at least 10 hrs a day by herself and im not a happy camper,, now i worry even more..lucky me. im going to kill my brother, ha ha |
Hes in my prayers Gina |
Thank God he was wearing a helmet and is alive! Your brother and family are in my prayers.:hands: |
I\'m so sorry to hear this. I hope if he gets back on a bike, he wears FULL gear. I ride too, and it really doesn\'t matter how safe you think you are, there are too many factors outside of you and your bike to take any chances! I shake my head when I see people riding around in shorts and t-shirts, or girls on the backs of their boyfriend\'s bikes in bikini tops! When I started I was told "Dress like you know you\'re going down" so I always always always have my helmet, padded jacket, gloves, and boots on. One hot day I was just moving my bike from the front street to our parking area behind our house. Going halfway around the block and down the alley with just my helmet and gloves absolutely scared me. I felt too vulnerable. I really hope he heals well and learns from the experience. And I hope he doesn\'t lose his love of riding! |
Sending prayers your way. |
Wow, maximum road rash! Your brother is probably hurting more than if he broke a bone! Will include him in my prayers. I hear that the roads in Florida are not motorcycle free because they are either wet from rain or slippery from the heat. W |
sending you prayers and hugs, I get so worried when my dh rides his, praying for your brothers full recovery. |
Gina my thoughts and prayers go out to you, your brother and family. I am so sorry and wish your brother a speedy recovery!! |
