Texas Weather
 
Its nuts here.... yesterday it was hot and almost 90... I dont think it reached 50 here today!!! Its been freezin cold and raining all day!!! The wind makes it worse!


It was so cold that Charlie let me put him on a shirt (he normally doesnt go the for the clothes).



More rain and cold for the week!

HERE TOO!! ohhh my gosh its soo cold today and wet!! it was raining this morning and has been misting all day!

Tell me about it!!! I dont have any pants! The weather dropped what 40 degrees?! I had to borrow my husbands jacket and the kids had to be bought coats. I even bought Tank a jacket and I thought he wouldnt need one for atleast a month.

OMG...I was just taking the dogs outside a little while ago and thought about posting this exact thread..LOL. It went from summer to winter overnight didn't it? HOT and sunny yesterday...Cold, rainy and windy today. I'm sure those of you up North think I'm crazy but when it gets in the 50's here it is freezing to me! It's like time to bring out the heavy coats..LOL

I know! :eek: I was just going to start a thread about this :p That's Texas weather for ya though :rolleyes: You never know what to expect, LOL.

Or how about this, you can send your kids to school in a sweater and by the time they get out of school they need a tank top on instead :p

It's cold one minute, and hot as H*LL the next! Right now though, it is FREEZING (well, alot of people wouldn't think this is cold, but I sure as heck do, lol!) - my babies are bundled up in sweaters and I have layers of clothing on lol :p I get cold extremely easily though :cold smil

I forgot to add...do any of us other Texans have MAJOR (and I do mean MAJOR) wind where they are??? My Banana Tree's are TOTALLY wind whipped lol! MAN - it was like a hurricane out there!!!! :eek:

I know. Don't you love it!... when it's hot, it's just hot but when it's cold you can put more clothes on to get warm... I went out on a long walk today. It felt sooooo good.

lol yeah they people up north are probably laughing at us lol! thinking we are crazy 50 degrees probably feels good to them lol!!!

Exactly! They would probably be out in shorts in this weather...LOL. I on the other hand, am bundled up to my chin, I can barely type lol!

same here!!! my mom said everyone came to her work in turtle necks and like huge winter coats lol!!!

OMG, hilarious. LOL. I was JUST telling my husband this very same thing tonight! He is from Canada, so YOU'D THINK he'd be used to the cold - but we were outside tonight with the babies and he was like ok...this sucks I'm going in. LOL - I am thinking, are you kidding me! You are USED to the cold...how come YOU are sooo freezing? Well, he prefers the hot (YUUUUUCK! :thumbdown) - and I was TRYING to explain to him that when it's hot, it's just plain HOT and it seems like no matter how hard you try, you can NEVER cool off....but when it's cold you can throw layers of clothes on (like I have on now :D) and get warm.

Looks like it will be in the 60s here the next 2-3 days and then stay in the 70s. The 70's sure will be nice. That's the perfect temperature as long as the sun is out and it's not too windy

We have the wind here!

Tomorrow when I go into work I will be dressing for Summer because with it being the least bit cold outside they will have the heater cranked tomorrow. By end of day I may be sportin the least amount of clothes thats legal! :eek:

Well, we always knew Texans had an ego problem.;) Now it's gone to the weather!:rolleyes:

LOL but you are so right. We love the 50 degree weather in Wisconsin. Just cool enough to maybe wear long sleeves but not cold enough for a jacket yet. Tonight it will be in the lower 40s maybe uper 30s. But we had a lovely weekend in the 70s.

My daughter is now a Texan so guess I better develop some sympathy for y'all. I'm a transplanted Illinois-gal and it gets darn cold up here.
