Does anyone remember 1 Attachment(s) and have any idea where I can find a heart-to-heart bear? The ones that came out in the 80's with the nightgown and the red heart that you put batteries in and put in their chest so when you hugged them you could feel their heart beat? |
in 1996 and 1997 I had premature sons that were 3 months early, The child life specialest told us both times to get one so that the baby would have the heart beet sound and calm them so that they would be restful. We found them at Toy's R Us in the baby department. My youngest Garrett still has Boo Boo Bear!! |
Did you check Ebay?.. or Google it.. I'm sure you can find one on those sites. |
I agree Ebay, Google or toys r us |
I would try Ebay. Or just surfing the net. I can help if you like!! Just PM me. |
Ebay doesn't have them - lots of Boyd's Bears but not the original heart to heart bear from the 80's. All google got me was some toys from the 80's site - lol. I need to find one. It is a long story as to why, but I am slightly desperate. I thought for sure I could find one on ebay and was actually shocked when I couldn't. |
Found this one! I am currently the high bidder - but it has 6 days left. |
Well just stay on it. |
|
Is this it? http://cgi.ebay.com/18-Plush-Heart-T...QQcmdZViewItem It says its dated 1986 on the tag.. |
That's the one that already sold. There was another just like it that I bidded on. Crossing my fingers I win! |
Oh, well are you sure it sold? You can send a message to the ebayer. Usually it will say who the high bidder is. |
It said "amandariswold won this item with a Best Offer of US $30.00" so yeah. :( |
|
Oh, well darn!!! I will go back looking again!!! |
|
sorry that one was out of stock heres another one http://www.amazon.com/DEX-Products-I...332253-8607003 |
Well I hope you win that one. Did you need it soon? |
Thanks for helping me look. That one isn't the same though. I need the one that is from the 1980's. Mine accidently got mixed in with a bunch of the kids' stuffed animals that we hauled off to the thrift store. When I went back to the store to get it back (I was even willing to buy it back) this little girl was there and SHE bought it! Well, it was one of those kind of situations where she looked like she needed it far more than me so I didn't say anything. So now I am trying to find a replacement. I know, its stupid that a grown woman can be so friggin' attached to a stuffed bear. It's just really a long story. :( |
I know the feeling, when we moved last year some of our stuff got mixed up and went to goodwill by the time I realize my stupid mistake, it was to late. I hope you win the bear. |
Well I hope you get it back. Thats odd that not many of them are listed on the internet.. ?? |
I know! That's one of the reasons I wasn't TOO upset. I figured I could just go online and find a replacement. Apparently I'm not the only one who's really attached to her bear! |
it's one of a kind.. I remeber those when my kids were little that was ages ago. I still have my kids first stuff animals they every got, they don't care about them but I will always treasure them. I guess it's a mom thing. |

I hope you can replace your bear! Good luck. |
I found another one for sale but she doesn't have her heart - or her clothes  I kind of need the heart and wouldn't know how to go about replacing it. If I'm having this hard of a time just finding the bear, I can only imagine how hard it would be to find just the heart and just her nightgown and cap. |
