It's Cancer I called the vet and he has confimed that Tigger my 5 yr old cat has cancer:cry8::cry8: I am so heartbroken i just don't know what to do:cry8: I think i may go have him put to sleep today I just am so depressed. I love him dearly and i don't want him to suffer anymore. The vet says he isn't in pain but he is just acting so bizzar he is not himself. I thought for sure he was gonna die last night but he made it through but he is acting very strange today i just knoe it is near. I don't know if i should let him pass here in his home where he is comfortable on his own or to take him in where he will be stressed out right before he dies. It's so hard to make this desicion:cry8::cry8: I really want to thank all of you for your support it means more than you will ever know to me. |
Amber Iam so very sorry, you are in my thoughts and prayers. |
Prayers are coming your way. Only you can make the decision what to do with him. As long as he's not in any pain I might just let him stay in his home until the end. |
I know just how you feel. My cat is 14 and has been acting strange also, not at all like himself. We have taken him to the vet 3 times, they can't find anything healthwise, just that he's getting old and his time is getting near :( . I hate thinking about putting him down, but I know there's a possiblilty it will have to be done. As of now, he doesnt seem to be in pain, so I will just let him go in comfort when the time is right. If you also strongly think that Tigger's not in pain, I think you should let him go comfortably and peacefully when it's time. I know this decision is so hard to make. |

I am so sorry. :( |
Amber I\'m so sorry about Tigger...If you need to talk I\'m here for ya. |
Ohh Amber, I\'m so sorry to hear this. It\'s a tough decision that you have to make. Personally if I knew he was in no pain, I think I would let nature take it\'s course. I\'m just so sorry you have to make this decision. |
Amber I am so sorry. I am praying for you. |
Amber, I\'m so sorry. You\'ll know when it\'s time to let him go. He\'ll tell you. Something you may want to consider is asking your vet if someone could come to your house to do it there, that way he will be in a familiar setting and not stressed out. I know it is such a hard decision. You\'re in my prayers. |
I am so sorry Amber and you and kitty are in my prayers. If you opt for the vets office they will arrange a time and it will be quick. You will know when. Megan\'s idea is wonderful but few of us have vets that great. Many benefits to a small town but you may have that option for all I know. Hugs and Prayers Joan |
I am so sorry, sending you lots of hugs ! |
