Thank you all for the prayers i am crying and so heart broke right now. This is my baby he was the first pet i ever had as my own he is about 5 yrs old. My hubby got him for me for Valentines day 5 yrs ago we rescued him. He has been my baby and was just a kitten when we got him and he is the most loving cat i have ever met. I took him in because he was having a hard time breathing he was gasping and struggling i called and the vet said to rush him in. When i got there they took him right back and put him in an oxygen tent. The vet met me in the room and said it could be a lot of different things the only way to know was to do a lot of expensive testing. We decided to start with an x-ray and go from there. He told me to go home and said the bill could be over $500.00 within the first few hours:( . I just got off the phone with him and My Baby has Fluid in his lugs he said it was the consistincy of cottage cheese and they are now draining it to see if it is an infection. They want to do all these other tests but i do not have pet insurance and i can't get approved for the care credit:( and right now we are stuggling financially. I will do everything in my power to keep him with us unless the vet feels it would be best to put him to sleep(i can't bear the thought of him suffering) then i will do everything i can to save him. I thank you all for your prayers i know they work. I will know a little more in a half hour and will update you all.

i just got off the phone with them and the vet wants me to come in i am terrfied this may mean bad news:( :( :( i will lwt you know when i come back. please keep praying for him he needs it.

BTW, he looks exactly like the first cat I ever had - his name was Tigger!

Amber, so sorry to hear this. I hope your vet figures it out and helps you out with the bill because it sounds like it could be a lot. But money is no matter when your pets are in danger. I'm so sorry and will be praying for you and thinking about you all day. Please keep us posted, girl
