are you FREAKING kidding me????????????? I don't know if you remember this or not, but a few days ago...maybe last week...i posted about the trouble i was having with DHL. I have been shipping my blankets out overnight to some customers using DHL because i get a really good deal with them. well, 2 out of 3 times, the packages had gotten shipped to the wrong terminal and it took an extra day. so what was supposed to be overnight delivery turned into 2 day delivery. I was soooooooooo ticked!!!! well, i shipped a package yesterday that was supposed to be there today and guess what....YES....for the 3RD TIME....it was not delivered when it was supposed to. they said "the package did not make the connecting flight" OMG!!!!!!!!!! 3 OUT OF 4 packages that I have shipped with them were not delivered right!! I can't believe this!!!!!! Last time this happend i asked the manager of our route if I was doing something wrong and she said no...everything looked just fine. they are sending me free overnight packages but it doesn't change the fact that I have disappointed customers because of this. 2 of them were birthday presents that did not arrive in time because of this! unbelievable!!! sorry...thanks for letting me vent! |
That would really make me mad. Have you thought about using UPS? We use that at my work, and every once in a blue moon maybe 1 out of 500 packages gets to the wrong terminal. |
That is absolutely ridiculous - I used to have the same problems with UPS and I complained like CRAZY I know longer use them because of it. I know how you feel, it wasnt your fault BUT it still looks bad on you and people are dissappointed! |

Wow, that's very disappointing! I don't use DHL if I need to be sure it will arrive on time. I use FedX for "have tos". DHL has messed things up for me once too often also. |

How frustrating for you! My daughter ships alot of things out, and she was complaining to me about them too. She said she hasn't had a single problem ever since she started sticking with USPS or Fed-X. |

I like Priority Mail with USPS. Although it says 2-3 (business) day delivery, most things arrive next day at a fraction of the cost of DHL, UPS or FedEx. The only problem I have encountered with USPS is when using 1st class parcel post - what should take about 3 days can sometimes take 1-2 weeks!! You never know when this will happen, but there are certain post office/cities and regions that definitely take much longer than others. The Muncie, IN post office is notorious for NOT delivering anything without delivery confirmation!!!!!! |

Free shipping! You have got to be kidding me? I lost 10.00 on shipping fees,they are though the roof because of all these new rules. I hate USP |

On the lighter side Mandee -- at least they are consistent :D I know you are frustrated -- you should get some of your $$ refunded if it was a guaranteed delivery. |

they are sending me some free "ship ready" packages which is the overnight package that I use. it is unlimited weight. i will only use them if it is not absolutely necessary for it to get there the next day. in those cases, i will use USPS and just eat the $20. I wrote the presidents office (president of DHL) (supposedly LOL) and this is the response I got.... _______________________________ Dear Ms. Pepe, We are so very sorry to hear about your negative experience with DHL. I have forwarded your e mail to the station managers of the courier who picks up your shipments. I will find out who routes your shipments. Also since these are Ship Ready envelopes, is it possible that when you write the address on the shipment that it is not coming down clearly to the copy on the envelope and then the courier can not see the correct zip? Just a thought. I will make sure that this is taken care of and we hope you give us another opportunity to service your shipping needs. Would you like for me to send you two Ship Ready envelopes as a good faith gesture? So I asked the lady who claims to be the manager of our route and she said she did not see anything wrong with the packages or the labels. And this turned out to be the third package that was not delivered in time. So I am not sure. I will make sure, in the future, that there is no chance of it being unclear. DHL is a terrible delivery service!...I know some one who uses it frequently just because the shipping is cheaper...he sells stuff on E-bay and always trying to save some cash... He used his debit card once to send out a package....the next day he checked his bank account on line and there was debit for about $700.00 from DHL ( his shipping was under $20) charged to his card :eek: apparently someone with the same last name owed a bill so they decided to take it from his card to settle the bill...it took a while to straighten out....they have over charged his card two more times since then on shipping fees, but only by $3-$5....I wondered how many times they did this to other people who never caught it.... They have delivered boxes, three times, with broken items and the boxes looked like as if it was run over by the truck, so those had to have insurance claims filled out on them.... Everytime he uses DHL service he knows he has a 50/50 chance something wrong is going to happen...he has now started paying with cash only ... |
