Destin is beautiful! We have a place there and take Bella, but the beach doesn't allow dogs. There are lots of places where we can take Bella (outdoor shopping areas, outdoor restaurants,etc). We do see lots of little dogs in Destin, just not on the beach. :(

No problem! They also offer a lot of couple-y activities for the day or a weekend and a lot of the cabins you can rent have a couple-y theme to them..there is a hot springs website somewhere..it will tell you all about it!

Savannah is wonderful and very dog friendly. My husband and I used to go all the time for 3 day weekends. You can go expensive or not depending on how close you want to be to River Street.

I saw my first Newfoundland on River Street. I love the street musicians and watching the big ships come in. You can do dinner cruises, too.

And there's always the shopping..............

I might need to look into that since theres shopping. What places around do you reccommend?

I went there a few times, before I had the dogs and I love it. The water is clear, which I really like. Theres a lot of nice shops. I might go there during the summer, when its a bit warmer!

I was just looking it up. I coudln't tell if the cabins were pet friendly or not. Guess I would need to call.

I hear they have NASCAR in Atlanta in March.....My family would go to the races for a couple of days in an RV, the RV was in the middle of the track and they would cook out and sit on top of the RV in lawn chairs and watch the race...I don't know how expensive it is but it sure is a "guy" kind of thing....

Haha, I work for a Nascar place..lol. Speaking of Altanta, is coming next weekend. Atlanta has raised there prices starting seats are now $60.. I might have to pass on nascar I don't like it that much.lol

Sorry, good try!!! BF said I shouldn't be looking now, but I am excited, even though its forever away. If I get this new job, I highly doubt that I will be able to go somewhere far, maybe to the mtns in GA again. Bc for the first 6 months you can't take any time off.. I just hope I get it!!!

hmm...bed and breakfast, roadtrip somewhere where there is a nice view (fall colors) and randomly look for a hotel, a small cruise somewhere, and my fav, Sandibal out in Ft Meyers, FL...been wanting to go there, and the beaches are dog friendly!

What about Lake Tahoe? Idk where that is but I have this magazine 'Animal Fair' that is the travel issue and it says what places are pet friendly, etc. Well this woman Holly rents out Cabins and they are petfriendly. Her website is hollyplace.com or it says to call 800-745-7041. This magazine is great if you like to travel with your pets.
