I'm in downtown Cleveland at work listening to the game, and THIS TOWN IS ROCKIN'!!!!!

Saturday night I made it to the top of the ninth and then fell asleep. I sure wish I could have stayed awake to see the BoSox go down in the 11th. We have quite a battle going on. Our son is a die hard Boston fan since he was a kid. We have no idea where that came from. Needless to say, daddy dearest had to call him Sunday morning and rub it in!
No doubt, Cleveland was rockin' tonight. I don't think the fans ever sat down. What an exciting game! GO TRIBE! I'm depressed! I have to work tomorrow night for game 4. I know I'll be calling home every half and hour to see what's happening.

Yes iksdolls, I just saw the news and they are so happy. There was a little boy about three or four coming out still waving his towel and singing away.

The happy train was happy tonight.:)

That was a great game Saturday night! I am a die-hard Indians fan, but I do like the Red Sox. I still like Manny Ramirez, since we basically watched him grow up and mature as a player. He was only 19 when he first came to Cleveland. I always told everyone that one day, that boy is gonna be one great hitter. Now he's 35 and in Boston, and he just keeps getting better. BUT, I don't want him to be hitting during this series.:D The Red Sox players seem like a great group of guys who have fun personalities. But, they went to the World Series a few years ago, it's OUR turn!!!:) I LOVE baseball!! I even named my first yorkie after Jacobs Field (Jake).:)

We are also die hard Indians fans. Our grandson was born during the 2nd game of the world series in 1995. I stayed in the waiting room with my granddaughter and watched the game while our daughter was giving birth. I became a huge Kenny Lofton fan at the end of that series when they lost and Kenny was the only one who spoke after the game and thanked the fans for their support. I was crushed when they traded him but continued to follow his career. I am so happy he is back were he belongs, in Cleveland. He is a great team leader and one classy guy.

I LOVE Kenny, and it's so good to have him back!!! '95-'97 seasons were the best! It took me a LONG time to get over that game that was blown by Mesa against the Marlins.....a very long time lol

We still aren't over the Mesa thing. Hubby had to work over night that night and I would call them with updates. I flipped out when they put Mesa in and you could hear the guys in the background moaning when he told them. It's like we all knew what was going to happen except the manager. I have a really good feeling about this year. Let's all hope it happens!
