Yesterday 90* today 48* in Michigan
 
OK, it's that time of the year....Air Conditioner running one day, 3 :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork burried under a fleece blanket the next.....wondering just when mommy will be cold enough to turn on the heat!!!!:cold smil
I think we'll make it through tonight but it's supposed to be in the 30's :snow: tomorrow night. Had to go out and bring in the 2 Christmas Cactus' that spent the summer out in the yard. I knew it was coming (Fall), one of them is full of buds (It's more of a Halloween Cactus).
Anyone else holding out on turning on the heat???

It was similar to that today in Indiana. We turned the air conditioning off, but just wasn't quite ready to turn on the heat. :rolleyes: It's actually pretty comfortable in here without either. I love fall! Just wish it was about 65 outside.

Well it's not that cold but it's definitely a lot cooler. FINALLY!

I can wear something with long sleeves tomorrow! Woo! :D

I'm not ready for this cold!!....Right now I'm cold in the house so I'm going to light a fire and bake some banana bread to warm things up in here.....I already had a hot cup of cocoa.......

I turned the heat on yesterday.:) I believe the air was on the day before that.

yes, it's been like that here...some days it's nearly 80*then we have some frosty mornings too and cold days. We had to turn the heat on the other day, but we've kept it off besides that. Not sure how much longer we'll hold out. The other day when I was cold, I had a cup of hot cocoa and put a fleece blanket on my lap. I stayed nice and warm.

I just got back from Florida Saturday. When we got back it was hotter here than it was in Florida. Now its cold and I want to go back. I hate winter!!!!!

NY is the same. It was 90degrees on Mon and Tues it dropped down
to 62! Today it's 62 but suppose to get alittle warmer.
I'm glad it finally dropped down. This is Oct not Aug.
I want FALL. It's my favorite time of year.

ME TOO! I could go without seeing snow once if thats what new england weather wants to do!

I don't know if New England weather jokes are told is other parts of the country, but its a joke around here about how weird our weather is. Last week it was in the 90s this week the 50s & 60s. I have not turned on the heat bc its supposed to go up to the 70s this weekend. haha If its a bit cold in my town house I bake dinner in the oven instead of on the grill and it warms the house up! :D

Sunshine is expecting babies and she had a restless night so I buckled and had Chuck turn on the heat this morning, it was 60* in here at 7am. She's snoozing now that she's not burried under 6 layers of down & fleece.

We have already had two fires burning, then yesterday we neeeded the air.
I had the gas company come light my pilot on my furnance well I had a gas leak so they shut off my gas and locked it until it got fixed. So, I was without hot water ,stove for two days! I guess it could have been worse.:rolleyes:

I can so relate, its crazy, I had my air on sunday, and now this am i tuned on the heat, it was 47 here this morning...burrrr got out the hoodies for the furkids and more blankets to. looks like winter is around the corner:rolleyes:

Is it fixed now:confused: ? Chuck used to deliver Propane & fuel oil and he felt bad whenever he had to lock someone off like that. He used to spend alot of time looking for & fixing leaks for people so they would not have to be long without heat.

Cocoa sounded good.....I went to fix some & found a pot of Pumpkin Spice coffee that someone left for me this morning, yumm. BTW, it must still be summer to some people, hubby left for work this am still wearing shorts.

I think that's what Chuck Lofton on Channel 13 weather said we were going to have. Much warm temperatures and less precipitation this winter.

It's still hot here 80 degrees today, but I hear that cooler weather is on the way, The mornings are really nice now 60's :) . I have notice that the humming birds are leaving so I guess fall a coming, it'a about time. As for heat we still have the AC running during the day,

Me too!!!! If I never saw snow again even on Christmas Id be happy. If My Husband didnt have a business here we would be living in Florida

We live by the lake and it was only 48 this morning..after 90 the other day...go figure. I have this crazy rule in the house no heat on until 10/1 so I'm way ahead of the game - I have yet to turn it on since the house was still warm from the heat from a few days ago. I might have to break down and turn it on just at night since it's going to be only in the low 40s, but heard on the news that come Sunday we'll be back in the 60s for day high and maybe low 50s for night but looks like heat will be on soon enough just to get the chill out of the house.

Oh - and Izzy was shaking so much this morning so on went her pjs. ;)

LOL! I know! Crazy here in Michigan! We had the central air on Tuesday and Wednesday we lit the fireplace!!!

I love Michigan though!!!! Born and raised :) its so pretty here!

You gotta love living in Michigan. Our house is freezing today cause the hubby doesn't want to turn on the furnace since it is supposed to warm back up by the weekend!!!!!

Just saw weather channel Jodie,this weekend,lows in the lower 40's!!! Highs near 60,kinda like today.Hubby turned heat on this morning to "take the chill off" for my 81 year old mother wrapped in blankets.Gotta love the fall colors here in Michigan.:)

Yep, air conditioner to heat in one day. Where else do you have a 50 degree temperature drop but Michigan??? No gradual change os seasons anymore. Just had to get furnace part replaced this week and heat is now on. I want Spring back

It's FREEZING here today! :eek: I had on long sleeves and was still cold.
