Guess what I got today!
 
My Kentucky Driver Manual :D :D :D

I'm excited!! ((even though I dont turn 16 until January!!))
lots of studying up to do!!

Well I'm sure no one really cares, but I just thought I would post it anyway! Cause I'm so EXCITED :jump28ib: :rollingey :jump28ib:

Okay I knew like NOTHING out of this book!! I hope I can remember all this!!!!:xfingers: :xfingers:

I can feel your excitement here in Texas! :D You will do fine. Just study. I will do a search for you and let you know what I find, but I think there's a free online flashcard program that can help.

Congratulations!! Study hard. All three of my children got their "permit" when they were 15 1/2. Then on their 16th birthday they went and got their license. (We are in CA). Its good to have the permit for some time before getting your license. Good practice! :animal-pa

OMG I HATE KENTUCKY!!!
We can't go to get our permit until were 16. THEN go get our Intermediate Liscense when were 16 and a half. and THEN get our liscense at 17.

I hate it!!!!!!

ha i just found a practice test and got a 68 lol... looks like I definitely got some studying to do!!

i am sure you will do fine. As far as the age thing in Ky, just remember all these crazy rural roads we have and how high the accident AND death rate is for the age group you are talking about. Laws are good and they are here for your protection. In a few years from now you will be telling your children about your experience of getting your license.

Congratulations....study hard....and most of all when you do start to drive be smart and safe. That's the mom in me..hehehe...especially during the winter - that's when we moms worry the most. ;)

I know I know :rolleyes: . I just wish people my age could be more responsible. then we wouldnt have to have all these rules. I know that I'm responsible but not a lot of people are so of course here we are.

lol you dont have to worry about me being safe. One time my boyfriend tried to teach me how to drive about a month ago. We were in an empty parking lot, so there was no cars around, but i was still scared to death, lol. I would get to about 5 mph and slam on the brakes again cause it just scared me. but we were in his BIG truck, which is what mainly scared me. eventually i started doing better. the FUNNIEST thing i ever heard him say was "okay thats good, but if this parking lot were full you would have just taken out a whole row of cars." (sorry if no one else finds it funny, it was just one of those you had to be there moments. :D )
