I have two with two phone lines. one Puerto Rico number one Nebraska phone number. I use mine to check my email and do texting but mostly email. I do have some technical issues with both They sometimes turn off on their own. The freeze up sometimes as i have had mine for a year. They are also sensitive as far as sound so the people you call can really hear the back ground noises, even if ur TV sound is on low. The camera suck in the quality of pictures it takes. I am thinking of upgrading to a black berry next but as far as my treos I am very happy with them over all. but they do have bugs. As far as searching the web I think any phone but the Iphone sucks including the treo because they do not support the webs pages and web pages always turn out looking like crap on phones. I phones would be best for surfing the web.

I think I would check out a blackberry instead if i were you because the treo has many bugs. Also don't but on ebay check out sprint.com if u have spring because they are selling them for 300 and give you 100 rebate on top of that to bring your total cost down to 199$ if u want a treo.

I have the Env....I LOVE IT!! Seriously - I have NEVER had any problems with it - AND its cute lol The camera is excellent too....especially for a camera phone....I recommend it to everyone! BTW I have the orange one - just my preference..:D

Cool! Hows surfing the internet? Can you get on YT on it? Is there anything else cool about it? The screen, is it bright and easy to see? Does it have good reception?

Do you know when these phones came out?

The phone just came out recently...couple of months ago. The screen is huge and clear - it is really the best phone ive had - the speaker phone is clear no annoying static....it has a flash on the camera and zoom in and out and auto focus. And its really easy to use. Im kind of a cell phone addict - I always have to have the new one so Ive had alot lol

Thats me too :rolleyes: I just want a new toy! Plus I want to be able to access my email and websites. Do you do that with this phone?

I also have the orange envy and I love it. My daughter workes for verizon and she recommends it. You can text pic text check e-mail. It's a great phone, you can even listen to your favorite music if you have a memory card for it.

I will check out the env too then.

Are there anyother Verizon PDA's that would be a good choice? Like I said, I'm clueless as this would be my first.

Just a quick note..
 
As my mom (Kitt) stated earlier.. I do work for Verizon. I highly suggest that you do not purchase your phone from Ebay. I have seen many people come into the store to get some phones activated and they are either not Capable of Verizon Svc, or When we do the model changes, the system spits them back at us stating they are on the lost / stolen list with a police report on file..With this being said we have to relinquish the phone and contact the original owner and ship it back. As well as you will be out the money that you paid to purchase it. If you have any questions about phones.. Just let me know.. I will be glad to give you advice as to what phone would be better suited to the needs that you are looking to do.. This way you are not getting too much phone for your money as well as not enough!

Just read that Verizon is coming out with an LG Voyager before xmas,which is supost to be like the iphone:D

I still have not decided!!!

Thanks so much for the info!!!!

Now my only other issue is that I'm looking at the design of the EnV and I'm thinking I like the design of the treo better. Not having to open anything up, everything is right there. I have talked to a couple people who have not had issues with the treo. But more people have than not.

Is it inconvienient to have to open the whole phone to use the keyboard??? Can you go on yahoomail and send and recieve messages???
