I think it looks cute...I love the color. I wish I had the courage to cut my hair that short!

I was looking at the second picture in post 15 and the front sides look longer than hers is. To me anyways. I like the stack like it is now,not a fan of that high cut in the back.

When you go to get it recut. bring a picture of how you wanted it. If you don't feel comfortable letting the 1st stylist do it han get your money back and go someplace else..
just looking at your cut makes me think she/he was afaid to do it to short?? am i right?

I love it but I agree with you, the back should be shorter for a more drastic in-your-face look!! :D You look great with short hair!! :p

i justhad my done with a more victoria beckham style and i took in my stylist a picture of jenna jameson though with her new cut and i got it but my hair is grown out now so much that its inda nice cause whemn ihad it doe more like yours it was a pain in the butt ot grow out and they would shave my neck and clip it realyl close cuase it was so short and it was pain grow it a little and then try a sharp angle but go to more of a stylist cause alot of the girls aroudn here cant get a good angle and i went to a high end awhere they send you out with funky hair and they did awesome

OK Hun I have to say this statment really offends me! I work at Great Clips! Hello. But let me tell you I am a Stylist it is a art. I have seen major WACK JOBS at both high end and lower end like Great clips.
I worked full serv for years before getting tired of snooty people and not having any home life ! They all though I needed to be at the salon 24/7 to please them? Sorry no not me I like working where the people are just that people. Not how much you make who you are and what you drive....

It is not the place you go to get the hair cut but the stylist who does your hair....


Sorry Mandee didn't mean to rant in your thread.. but I had to say this :)

my bff went to a girl who does hair for a lot of famous people. she paid over $80 for a cut!!! and then she paid GOD KNOWS how much for her color...and she walked out looking like a skunk and had to go back in several times to get it "fixed". it wasn't until she went to my girl and paid about 45 buck for cut and color and walked out totally happy. so those high end ones...aren't all they are cracked up to be :) they were able to afford a salon on music row and felt they could jack up their prices because of it. didn't make them any better than my girl who works in the middle of nowhere :)

i have always been very happy with my girl. she has never left me unsatisfied, and i wasn't exactly sure how i felt about this cut when i left yesterday. so i just left and she assured me that if i wanted something different, she would do it. so my bff is going to see her on tuesday, and while her color is setting, she is going to fix my cut for me.

so all is good :)

I always try to make sure the client likes the cut befor they walk out but Always tell them If you go home and think you need more off or adjustments just let me know ;)

yep, that is exactly how she is :) her shop is about 45 minutes away, so i am going to wait until my bff's appointment and just ride up there with her. otherwise, i would have gone in today :)

I think your hair turned out pretty good, but then, I know exactly what you were going for, so I'd want her to do a little more to the back too. And you posted exactly the picture of Jenny that I was thinking of in your other thread before you got your hair cut! I have been thinking of cutting my hair like that since I saw VB's (but she's SO PETITE, and I am so NOT), but hers is just a tad too short for ME and then when I saw Jenny's cut, I loved it (and used to wear my hair just about like that when I was a senior in HS (long time ago:rolleyes: ). I'm just hesitant b/c my hair has been LONG (to the bottom of my bra strap) forever and I know it would be a HUGE shock. You're lucky that your hair is curly (which, BTW, I would NEVER have guessed looking at how straight it looks in these photos!) b/c it gives you more body; my hair is fine so that's one thing that's holding me back from cutting it. And I don't know why, but I NEVER consider cutting my hair during the summer; it's always in the winter, LOL. Also, with short hair, I have to spend more time on it; since with long hair, I can just pull it back, put it up or braid it, and it will look presentable; not so with short hair. But it's so cute........I'll work on losing some lbs so my face isn't so round and then think about it, haha. I can't wait to see how your hair turns out. The color is great with that cut too!

i am not concerned about the back being too short...i dont' think i want them to chop on it as much a VB's but more layers than what is there now is what i am going for. and cutting into the hair behind my ears a bit too. i think this will give it more dimension. I'll let you all know how it turns out :) i'm sure...one day....it will be what i am looking for ;)
