if it is on a hard surface - take a hair dryer and blow it on the sticker for a about 30 seconds or so longer if needed (not too close so it doesn't burn/melt) and slowly peel it off. This melts the glue so it will release. It always works for me. |
Ooooooooo.......I HATE THAT!!! Goo Gone is great and so is everything else people have mentioned....(windex, soapy water, etc). I also found that if the item can go in the freezer for awhile, it helps "unstick" the glue too! Good luck! What I hate most, is sometimes where the stores put the price tags!! Sometimes, it peels off paint, etc. That really irks me!!! |
GGGGGGRRRRRRR! I know exactly what you mean...i bought a wooden salad bowl not so long ago and it had a large, very sticky, impossible to remove label on the inside...i couldn't get it too wet with it being wood...then someone suggested nail polish remover...which did work..but it left the wood slightly lighter than the rest of the bowl...i didn't have any choice though..its sooooooo annoying! |
Got It Out,,finally!! YAY!!! Thanks to my friends here, I've got the photo frames clean and shiny!! MIL had an extra bottle of "Goo Gone"...Definaltly WORKS!! I'm on a mission now scoping for things all over the house with the bottle in my hand..LOL |
