So my mom bought me a "chanel" wallet from a popular craft show this weekend in Northern Wisconsin. I doubt that it is real because of how cheap it was but I am wondering if any of you know how to tell if your chanel wallet is real or a knock off. Im going to try to find some pictures of one that looks like it. It is the black wallet with the chanel logo but part of it is off the wallet. the inside is black with some of the chanel logos inside of it.

Usually if its cheap at a craft show you can bet its a fake. Especially if the logos seem "off" to you.

Hm. Usually on the inside of namebrand handbags and wallets, there is something like a small tag or writing on the side. For example, inside my LV, there is a small tag that says "M51980" and I'm gonna guess that is saying something about the make of it.

and plus, if it was bought cheap from a craft store, it's probably fake.

Sorry but it's probably a knock off, but on the bright side if you don't tell anymore they'll never know.

ok so here are some pictures of it... I dont know anything about chanel... the logos dont look off to me but thats probably because of my inexperience with chanel.

yeah... i noticed that in one of the coach bags that i was looking at, there was like a little leather tag that said something about being authentic and then had some sort of crazy numbers and letters on the bottom of the tag. that was at the same place that my mom got the chanel thing, but i wasnt sure if they put like the numbers and letters on the wallets too.

Don't feel bad if it is a knock off. I have a "Coach" wallet that I paid $15 for and if you didn't know what you were looking for you'd never know it was a fake. In fact, it fooled my namebrand savvy cousin. She was furious that I had a $300 Coach wallet and she didn't. LOL

lol thats really funny. i dont think that i would truely spend that much money on a wallet thats crazy! Well maybe i would but it would have to be burberry.

I love a lot of designer things. The only designers brands that I have now is Coach. I love Coach!!! Yesterday I went to our craft fair that is nearby and their fakes were awful! I walked away just laughing. Yours looks a lot better than theirs. Their "Chanel" purses, the C's didn't look right, it looked like two pacman's. Pretty terrible! I kept telling my mom to go back and buy the pacman purse all day. :)

LOL Pacman purse. They don't have Chanel knock offs at our local craft fairs. Just Coach and Louis Vuitton. Now the LV's are BAD. REALLY bad!

lol yeah, the pacman purse that is funny. There were some fake coach purses there too at this other vendor and they were like obvious G's not C's it was really a terrible terrible fake!!

A few years ago, before I knew more about designer purses and what they actually look like, hubby bought me a fake LV and now looking at it it's a really bad fake. The stitching isn't very good, the purse itself looks really worn and I didn't carry it much, and just the overall quality. I wanna take hubby today and show him the pacman purse! :D

its really hard for me to tell between fake and real when it comes to LV just cause theres so much going on in that purse with all the LV's all over the place. I just started figuring out stuff about designers like not even a year ago. Me and my boyfriend went down to N.Michigan Ave. in Chicago so I got to see like Burberry, Prada, and Coach. The Pacman purse, that is absolutly hilarious.

OK, I'm not an expert at telling real from fake. But I think your wallet MIGHT be fake. Take a look at the first link, then the second one (yours). Just minor details - like in the first one the space between the Cs is bigger and the curves of the C going of the side are different.

yeah it does... and it looks like my c's are bigger and diamonds in the stiches are bigger too. thanks for finding the picture.

stitching should be flawless, straight, not "off" the feel of the leather the wonderful leather smell. I know my Coach but these are things I know to look for.

I don't support fakes as the ones who purchase the cheap thrills also support child labor and also support Al-Qaeda there are more reasons.

If you want to know for sure knowknockoffs can help great group of ladies

Hey...Ok, i know ALOT about bags. Your wallet is fake. Chanel does not have those Paper cards inside like that. I have one of those(bought it back when it was instyle)and the inside should be mostly hot pink, not black. also the CC'S outside are totally wrong. The inside should have a hologram with serial number. And of course, it should be leather, not man-made.
