O.B. embarrasment...
 
I just spoke to my daughter, who is 8 months preg., and she was telling me about her day at the ob......

She said she was called from the waiting room into the back room to wait some more......she was sitting on the end of the table naked from the waist down w/ a paper sheet barely covering her.....since she didn't have anything better to do she started looking down at her legs....she was thinking, "Oh darn, is that black hairs growing on my legs?!"

She grabs her ankle and brings it toward her face to check the hair situation....just as she did the door swings open :eek: ...the doc. froze holding the door knob while she froze gripping her ankle, nude....I said, "Don't tell me it was a man!"...She said, no it was a woman.....

She felt she needed to explain, so she did...the doc. said, "I was wondering what you where doing." ...She wanted to pull that sheet over her head.....

I told my daughter, you should have told the doc. you where checking to see if you could still bite your toe nails ;) ....

That story is funny. HeHe Thankfully it was a woman. I had a male deliver my son....all kinds of silly things like that happened.

That's hilarious. I had a similar experience. My first daughter was born in Germany. Being military I never got to see the same doc twice, just whoever was there that day. One doc didn't speak english very well and I thought he told me to take my clothes off.... when he returned he was very surprised to say the least. I was horrified.

I don't know if it makes it better or worse (aka more hilarious) that the doc said, "I was wondering what you were doing." She didn't even TRY to play it off. -- Too funny!! :yelrotflm

That's funny.
I had my baby back on March 30th and during my wellness exams there were some embarassing moments.

At one point during an exam the lights were off and there was a small light on a stand that they used to take a look see, I asked if I should've brought popcorn for them. (the doctor brought in an apprentice and nurse)

I think that kinda stuff happens a lot. I'm reading a book(fiction) called Gucci Gucci Coo and in it the pregnant lady at her doctors office had noticed the bathroom was out of t.p. so she used a tissue from her purse. The gyno was like "hmmm, what is this?" and pulls out a postage stamp that had been stuck to the tissue and got left behind. Ha ha
