anyone watch the emmys and sally field...? Did anyone happen to catch the emmy awards when Sally Field (I think that's who it was??) won an Emmy? She did the usual thank you thing then said something and then everything went silent (they turned her mic off or something, I guess) and not only that but then went to a shot of a light fixture or something for a few seconds...then back to the stage where there was mad applause. Did I miss something...? Just found it odd /end of random post/ :p |
She was mentioning the war so I bet she got censored for it. |
there was one thing i wanted to know... is/was it suppose to be live or do you think they did it a few minutes earlier before we saw it so they can censor it? |
I think that after the Janet Jackson/Super Bowl incident, "live" shows are almost delayed by a few minutes. |

I think it cut out too when Ray Romano was up there talking....the sound went off and it shot to the audience. I think maybe that was technical difficulty though......I didn't catch Sally Field...I think we started watching something else. |
I didn't catch her speech... the show got boring and i changed the channel!:D |
That was how they censored it this year. Every time someone said something that needed to be censored, they cut away to the far shot & cut the sound. |
Yes, it was the mothers and war thing. They played it on the radio this morning. They were talking about how someone has their finger on the delay button at all times - they're a little gun-shy. |

I saw on TV this evening where they censored any anti-war remarks. |
