Is this the lady that pretended to be missing so she wouldn't have to get married? I only really know that much about it. Can someone fill me in on the details? I really don't get the chance to watch TV these days. What was her reasoning for doing it? What is so special that she needs to be interviewed about and have a movie made about her?

LOL i saw the dateline interview and what a load of crap. She looks like such an idiot, to think anywould pay her that much money for a movie deal. like we all want to see why she ran away and cost tax payers all that money for the search, nit to mention why she would worry her family that way when there are people out there who have really lost someone to kidnapping. Yeah, I saw that on dateline last night, ( only because I wanted to see where she actually was when she dissappeared) Anyhow, the wedding she had planned,,, 600 guests,, 14 bridesmaids, 14 groomsmen,, planned to cost approx. 50,000.00 !!! Can you imagine?! :eek:
She needs this movie deal to recoup some of her deposits and imagine all the money she lost.. Oh well... its her fault!

What about all of the money lost by the law enforcement people and searchers out looking for her? I hope her town/state sues her for the money it cost them to try and find her. What a waste!

Nope, he stands behind her 100%. They interviewed him too. I agree this is so stupid. They can pay that chick 2 million but can't feed hungry starving kids??

She is totally disgusting and as far as I can see, they are rewarding her for bad behavior...REALLY BAD BEHAVIOR! I think she did it for the attention...knowing her face would be splashed all over national TV. She's sick and so is her fiance for standing behind her! I don't buy all her excuses...not for a minute. She is one of those selfish people who cannot think beyond...meeee meee meeee! I won't be watching that movie or reading her book! Wish she'd get prison time for what she did!

Remember Glenn DelConte, who suggested that Wilbanks and her fiancé move out of town? He also went so far as to drive by the fiancé's house to shout, "Don't marry her." Might DelConte, or someone like him, taunt Wilbanks as she performs the service? Can anyone do community service properly when the whole community is whispering about her behind her back?
