Congratulations!! I am also very proud of you, not just because you became a citizen but because of your love of this great country. It wonderful to hear because I think sometimes those born here take our freedoms for granted. I know I sure know how lucky I am. |
WOW! What a great accomplishment and I can only echo what everyone else is saying..I am proud of you.:bravo: |
Congratulations!!! |
:usaheart: :usastar: Congratulations my Fellow American! :usastar: :usaheart: |
WOW!!!!First off congratulations:thumbup: :D Your post has so many similarities to some part of my life, I have a dog named Chiquito, but his birthday isn't till Oct 9, and on Sept 24 I have my swearing in ceremony in Austin, Texas. I can't wait, I am so super excited, I did my interview in San Antonio on the 5th of Sept. Isn't wonderful to finally be officially part of this country. I was also born in Mexico, when I was 18 months old my mother brought me to this country and have lived here ever since, except when I was 10-12 I went back to mexico and lived there. But I am so excited, my hubby is in the military and is currently away doing training so he missed my interview but he should be here for the ceremony.......Congratulations:thumbup: ..........I can't wait:usaheart: :smileyfla :smileyfla :flag42: |
CONGRATULATIONS!! It's an honor to welcome you here. I didn't realize how long and expensive it was to become a citizen until my friend's Italian husband applied for citizenship ... what a feat! Thank you for your patience with the process!! :smileyfla Also, Happy Birthday, little Chiquito!!!! [Mom deserves cake too!!! :cake4: ] :bigbdaypa |

Congrats!! |
Welcome, bravo for making your presence legal. I understand that it's a very difficult process, I just wish it wasn't AS difficult as it is. I have a friend that didn't make himself a citizen and he's getting deported next month because he has a felony on his record from years ago. New laws do haunt your past and hold it against you. I feel for him, because he's lived here since he was less than a year young and knows NO ONE back "home". He knows it's inevitable, and his biggest concern? Yeah....his dogs. :( |
I'm SO happy for you, and very proud of you! :D I'm glad that you love this beautiful country. We don't always know how lucky we are here, and it's when someone like you comes along who worked so hard to become a citizen that we realize how truly blessed we are! CONGRATULATIONS! |
