Work from home income? Does anyone here participate in a work-from-home business? You know... the kind you see advertised in the paper all the time? I know that 90% of them are scams so I'm interested to see if anyone knows of a legitimate one. I work from home during the day for my company and freelance in the evenings, but sometimes I just want some "mindless" work that can bring in some additional income. Thanks! |
1800 Flowers.com has a work from home section.....just visit their website the link is on the bottom... |
I couldn't find it there. Quote:

Its allllll the way at the bottom, go to the Employment link But to make it easier heres the link :) http://ww11.1800flowers.com/template...e8&page=9000#1 I used to work for them... |
Hey thanks for that. I am always looking for a couple extra bucks. Do you know what they pay? |
Oooo youre welcome! Well when I used to work there it was $7/hour plus incentives.... |
Thanks!! It's amazing how many ads there are for work at home..most are scams. They get people to pay to get the information and nothing really ever pans out of them. |

What do you all think of this one? https://www.ezmarkbookmarks.com/e/index.php |
Its been my experience that if they may you pay for something upfront - that its a scam...I know of a couple of other agencies that do work from home - i'll find the list and post it for everyone later.. :) |
Companies... One company is called Liveops...thier site is: http://www.liveops.com/ Another is Alpine Acces: http://www.alpineaccess.com/external/index.html And the last one I know about is west: http://www.workathomeagent.com/Login.aspx I have worked for 1800 flowers as well as Liveops.....West is also a good one. They are all real legitimate companies Good luck! |
Thank you for that! I am always looking to make extra cash too, these babies are expensive to spoil! :D |
Interesting! |
I was thinking about doing this when I was out of work. I did "apply" to a couple of ads. YOU have to send them money and they send you a list of companys that are looking for home workers. I would be careful. Like one poster said...this could be a scam and, after watching the news for the past couple of nights, there seems to be alot of scamming going on.... |
I just applied at "West". Everything was quite easy and smooth, but I must tell everyone reading this post that after completion of everything, there is a small link to a survey that they'd like you to fill out (certainly not required) but this whole "survey" takes you to a completely new pop-up window that requests information for tax purposes. Naturally it asks for your social security number and some other details NOT asked on your application. Point is, I didn't fill that part out. I just closed the pop up attached to West's final paper. If they want that info. from me, they can fax or send me an official document in the mail that I can keep a copy of for my own records of submission to West. (I didn't feel comfortable w/ it because it wasn't a secure page, if for no other reason.) THANKS for the recommendation! |
