" Hi " everyone. :wave4: I had posted a little while ago about my son moving to L.Vegas and him & I driving out there. Here's the previous thread:

My son is moving to Las Vegas for his job. I am very happy for him but at the same time sad for me cause he's always lived at home and now he will be so... far away. He will be an Assistant Manager in a new store that the company he works for now is opening up in Las Vegas. He has been in Assistant Manager's training now for 2 months in Philadelphia, King of Prussia and Atlantic City, N.J.

Him and I are leaving on Sept 9th and driving his car out there. He thinks it should take about 4-5 days to get there. Then my husband is flying out on the 18th and were both flying home together on the 22nd.

He has an apartment booked allready for the lst of September. I am so proud of him for persuing his "dream" to work and live in Las Vegas. I've been there 3 times on vacation and love it out there. I just couldn't live there because of the heat.

So, in the short 2 weeks before I leave with him, I'm sure I will be asking/PM'ing you's that live in Las Vegas lots of questions.

Well, this Sunday we leave to drive out there. Anyone who lives in Las Vegas or near there know of any dog boutique's to vist? :icon5:

Also, if you all wouldn't mind saying a prayer that him and I arrive there safe, I would greatly appreciate it. :) That's a long way to drive and lots of roads to travel. Thank You. :smile:

I've never been to Vegas, I told hubby the only way I was going is by him buying me Celine Dion tickets. LOL Sorry I can't help ya out with dog boutiques but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. :)

Good Luck Dawn. Have fun and enjoy your son while you are there. There is so much to do there. Are you taking the boys? Again have a safe trip and don't party too hard.

P.S. Tillys_mom: The lst time I went to Las Vegas, we did have tickets to see Celine Dion perform. OMG, that was an incredible show. If it's possible, I think she sounded better in person. :) FYI, if you ever get to go to see her perform or to the same auditorium where she was, you've got to go into the lady's bathroom's there. I tell you, I have never seen public bathrooms that were as nice as those.... :D

There is lots going on in Vegas right now. The MTV Video Music Awards are live from Vegas this Sunday night, so you might see someone famous!! Haha And Celine Dion is having her last ever show in December, so I would try and go if you can! She's putting on a show on Sunday, too! Have fun and be safe!

Celine is ending her show there in December, so you better hurry ...:cry:

To Rudy's mom ... have a safe trip, I am sure there are plenty of doggy boutiques in the Fashion Mall on the strip ... try Nordstroms for sure ... and I agree about the heat!
