Debra update
 
I just heard from Kenny. He said that Debra is a little more alert today but is bleeding and in a lot of pain. She still hasn't seen the dr. since surgery yesterday so doesn't know yet what all he did:mad: The nurses got her up and put her in the shower....and left her there by herself:eek: . The dr. had told Debra before the surgery that she was NOT to get out of the bed for at least 5 days. Kenny said he would check back with me later. If anyone wants to send her a card or something, pm me. She will be in bed for months. Patty

Oh, that poor girl! I wish she could have had the surgery elsewhere. I'll be thinking of her and I'll pm you.

I just got another email from Kenny. Debra is having a hard time. She is bleeding and becoming anemic. She had too many visitors today that stayed too long and she is exhausted. He said when he got inside that it was HORRIBLE and she would need more surgery after she healed from this one. Poor Debra. Please keep those prayers going to Scotland. Patty

Sometimes you just have to tell the nurses no. Maybe her husband needs to talk to the doctor, and let him no what's going on.

that's what we told Kenny to tell her and he said that she has found her "inner b***ch" and gave the nurses what for and also the psyiotherapist. Good for Debra

Thanks everyone who has pmed me for her address. I know she will enjoy cards since she has to stay in bed for weeks and weeks.

Here's the update on Debra. She is so much better today:D She smiled and took a little walk. Kenny printed out the good wishes from YT and he said she was so happy to see them. The bleeding has stopped, so let's just pray that is stays that way. Patty

What did she have done? praying for a full recovery.

She had major internal reconstructive surgery which for her is very dangerous since she has EDS.
