I'm going to try to make it...my camera is ready too! Yes, the moon is huge tonight and it's glimmering off the lake like you wouldn't believe...it's beautiful! Kind of like the old Hamm's beer commercials (From the land of sky blue water...remember those?) but everytime I try to take a picture it doesn't come out right...I'll keep trying though...someday I'll get it!

im trying to stay awake! i was out a minute ago and the moon is huge and bright it hurt my eyes to look at it

5:00!:eek: Drats! You guys let me know how it turns out. Right now it is so foggy you can barely see the moon and it doesn't seem any different than it normally looks.:(

Just came inside from watching the lunar eclipse Wow very cool I took some pics but don't know how they turned out if we got any good ones I will try to post them later. I'm headed back to bed

I got to see a good bit of it. It was creepy, but cool. I tried to take some pictures too but haven't downloaded them yet so maybe there is a decent shot in there somewhere ...

I was up but didn't get to see too much and I'm very disappointed. We live on a hill that's covered with huge old oak trees so they blocked my view. The only way I could have seen it was to either get out on the lake in the middle of the night or get in the car to drive across the bridge.

Ok here are the last of them we didn't get to see the last of it around 6:15 people started driving down our road and I was in my jammies and had to keep running to hide LOL I think they turned out pretty good considering I know nothing about this camera it's hubby's and he was sound asleep.

We had one in the UK a few weeks back..can't remember the date...and it was a beautiful dark orange colour!
